Looking for a really unusual girls name!

I'm 34 weeks pregnant with my second daughter and found my first's name by scrolling through this forum. Hers is very unusual but has a meaning and is not too much of a mouthful. We're looking for similar with this one. By very unusual I mean a name that's never shown up on the baby name chart which records any name that has been used more than 3 times in a year. It's a tall order I know!

We have Australian and Italian roots and surname ends in -ia so that rules out most -a or -ia ending names for us.
Nice nicknames are also a must.

As an example of what I like my all time fave name is Camira. It's Australian Aboriginal but unfortunately is the name of a shit Australian car so has been completely vetoed by OH.
Would love some help!

Love Boronia suggested above.

I recall another thread about a lady who’d visited Australia and liked the name Rosella, like the birds. In that vein (and if you like Roz which is a good nickname seeing as Aussies like to ad a z to most nicknames) then you amend the Rosella to Rosetta, Rosannah (which I just saw at nos 82 and 127 of that 1850s link posted above).

On Roz, I love Rosamund. Had a DS though.

(I realise most of this doesn’t abide with your ending rules but I think for the right name that shouldn’t matter. Personal view.)

I once knew a Leonie also, never met another

There're some great ones here. Lots I hadn't thought of and I thought I'd come across most! The 1850s list was brilliant!
It's funny, my name has come up a few times and my mums too which is also unusual.
Should also have said we particularly like names which begin with Z or which mean star in some way (as OHs grandma is called Stella).
Thank you!

Is this going to be a long and increasingly obscure dripfed laundry list?

How about Enheduanna?

She lived around 23rd century B.C, was the high priestess of the goddess Inanna and one of the first authors of known history.

Loveisthelaw · 26/10/2017 19:44

I've only met or heard of one Sylvana, which I thunk is very pretty.

chicarubia · 26/10/2017 19:44

Haha octopuslimbs it would definitely be unique!
