The most children with the same name in the same class

Everyone seems to worry about popularity, so what name have you known the most of in the same class?

Growing up I had six (!) Daniels in my class, so over a third of the boys. There were two in the adjacent class too.

I've also known two separate classes with three Isabelles each who were all Izzy.
Three Jacks.
Three Freyas too which is odd as it's not that popular.

There was lots of Sophie's, Emily's and Emmas in my class when I was at school

In my DS class it seems to be Lily-May/Maes and

There doesn't seem to be lots of repetitive boys names

5 Catherines with various NNs in the 80s. There are two Elliot/Eliots in DDs class with another 4 scattered through the year. Williams as well.

There were 7 Andrews in my high school year of ~100 when I was growing up ( Scotland in the 80s). Nothing noticeable in DCs classes, though there are a lot of Ewans and Megans

5 Georgias, 3 Chloes and 3 Jades. All 1 class.

4 Williams out of 7 boys.

Ds2's class the girls are ALL called Ava, Eva, Evie or Aoife.

Almost all anyway. There is an Emily and a Sophie as well.

In DDs class (Year 1) there are 2 Jessica's, 3 Sam's & one each of Emelia, Amelia & Amelie - who are all known as Emi.

In DS2's year (now 16) the popular names are Oliver, Thomas & Josh for boys. Girls are a little more mixed but there are definitely a few each of Megan, Amy & Sophie.

7 Sarah's in one of my secondary classes.

No repetitions in my DDs year at all, but more of a multi cultural area, so a greater range of names.

There are a lot of 17 y o Tom's about. DS3 has had lots in his class since he started school, and been through 3 different schools.

there were 6 or 7 hannahs in dds reception in 2003

Most popular boys name was Connor, of which there was about 5 in the year

There were 20+ Emmas in my year at secondary school, most with the midden name Louise!

Loads of Joshuas and Isabellas in my DD's year

In my French set at school there were SEVEN kids with the same name as me!

It was good because if the teacher asked xxxx to answer a question you could just put your head down and hope one of the other six took it.

It is a name that now dates me as it has completely fallen out of use.

Ellie/Ellie-May, George, Jude, Isabelle/isobel are very popular in my ds class.

I taught a class with 4 James and had two classes with three repeated names; Toby and Oliver. The Oliver class also had 3 James. Confusing. This is in a boys' school though.

When I was as school Claire, Rachel, Emma, David, Matthew and Mark were popular.

My Children aren't school age but at nursery and baby groups it's Amelia, Evie, Theo, George, Elsie that are popular.

In my class there were 3 Sarshs, 9 Vickys in a year group of 90 girls. In english a level therebwere 3 Katys out of 12 girls.

Most of the boys in my son's school seemed to be called Conor and their brothers were Ryan. The italian-american ones were very good-looking and mostly called Tony.

At least half of my daughter's hockey team were called some variation of Alex/Alexandra.

Loads of Davids when I was growing up.

I once taught a single class with an Ella, an Ellie, and Ellie-May, two Charlottes, three variations on Jessica & a Maia and a Mya. Utter nightmare - they all got called sweetheart for a while.

You wouldn't expect Georgia to have such an impressive showing in one class. There's so much more variety now. My Fb is packed with Sarahs and Clares.

In my NCT group (a few years back) we noticed all the girls ended in A. That was clearly popular.

There are 4 Olivers in DD's Y4 class - two of which have a surname starting with the same letter as well. I think of them as the Ollies...

at that tactic Low.i used to work in an office with lots of people with the same name as me. They virtually had to poke me with a sharp stick to get my attention. If I'd responded every time someone said my name I'd have never got any work done

I had one class with 12 boys starting with J. Took a while to get them all right!

In the class of 10 I teach this year ( all girls 17/18 in an fe college) I have 2x charlotte, a Shannon and a Sharla. Gets confusing!
