Everyone seems to worry about popularity, so what name have you known the most of in the same class?

Growing up I had six (!) Daniels in my class, so over a third of the boys. There were two in the adjacent class too.

I've also known two separate classes with three Isabelles each who were all Izzy.
Three Jacks.
Three Freyas too which is odd as it's not that popular.

My Beaver Scout group (24 children) has multiple Harry, Henry and Williams. It also has Molly, Polly and Holly. Last year it had Flynn, Finton, Finley and Finn

DonutCone · 01/07/2017 18:25

Pretty much all the boys I know seem to be called Henry or Harry.

Silversun83 · 01/07/2017 19:54

About 3/4 of the girls in my class at school in the 90s were Rebecca, Sarah or Laura. Nowadays, I know a fair few Maxs and Georgias.

About 15 years ago, last year of junior school, there were three boys called Scott in my class. All of their surnames began with the same letter. They were known as Scott 1, Scott 2 and Scott 3. Luckily none of them minded too much.

I know about 8 trillion Erins xx

muminthecity · 03/07/2017 17:52

At secondary school there were 5 Louise's in my English class.
DD has 3 Abdullah's in her class.

A few years ago I had a nursery class where almost all of the girls had an -ia sound at the end of their name. We had Mia, Tia, Thea, Clia, Bria and Leah Grin. They must all be in year 2 or 3 now, though they didn't all go to the same school.

I was born in 1984 and in my year at school there were a whole host of children called:

Daniel
Christopher
David
Stephen/Steven

Gemma (I think all of them had Louise as a middle name!)
Sarah
Claire
Hannah

With my DS (5) the constantly recurring ones are:

Jack
Charlie
Samuel
Sophie
Sophia

I was at secondary school 1996-2003. Most of the girls were Becky, Katie, Emma, and there was a sprinkling of Rachels. And a few Jodies actually.

Boys were mainly Matthew, Robert, Tom, and Andrew.

CarrotFingers · 05/07/2017 09:37

Oh and I've just remembered - when one of my friends did teacher training about 12 years ago there was 7 Bradleys in her class! I guess they'd have been born late 1990s.

NewYearsAoibhe · 05/07/2017 09:43

Metalhead · 05/07/2017 14:26
