Evenly? Is that a name??

CatchingBabies · 26/02/2017 20:04

A relative has recently named there child Nova, I wanted to ask is it short for novacaine 😂😂

CatchingBabies · 26/02/2017 20:05

Their child not there, too tired!

MistyMinge · 26/02/2017 20:06

Jackson, Jaxon
Harrison
Nevaeh
Ellie-Mae, Daisy-Mae etc

Each to their own though. DC1 has a bit of a marmite name

Funnyonion17 · 26/02/2017 20:06

Well somebody has named my DS so far, but we all have different taste so I'm not offended.

I'm not really keen on Margot etc, infact I've herd some awful name suggestions on here. I think it's very much a regional thing as the area I'm from my son's name is fairly popular. I suspect Margot is in many areas too.

Lillian
Lilith
Violet
Bethany
Harry
Alfie
Sean

Positivitee · 26/02/2017 20:06

Ethan - seems incomplete
Lee - just horridly short and unpleasant
Amelia - sounds insipid and has negative medical connotations .
Lisa - female Lee
Clare - I've never met one that hasn't been a bitch

cauliwobbles · 26/02/2017 20:06

Any surnames as first names too Jackson, Harrison, Mason etc.

Hgmother · 26/02/2017 20:07

Nevaeh
And pretty much any name that's spelt ridiculously to be "different". I'm all for different, I like different... but call your kid Jason not Jayesen (or something more confusing)

Positivitee · 26/02/2017 20:07

Oh yes Alfie - possibly the worse name

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 26/02/2017 20:07

Harrison
Carter
Reilly

Montsti · 26/02/2017 20:07

Thea, Theo, Phoebe, Seth (I guess I don't like the Th/Ph sound) , Kit & terribly "cool" names that appear "try hard"...

SuperBeagle · 26/02/2017 20:07

Caitlin and Clare/Claire.

I've just always had an irrational hatred of those names. I couldn't tell you why.

NotaSnowflake · 26/02/2017 20:07

That girl in Little Mix called Jesi! I know it's meant to be pronounced as Jessie but according to the English language it should be pronounced Jeezy!!

dalmatianmad · 26/02/2017 20:08

Phoebe, no idea why but it makes me cringe Confused

Positivitee · 26/02/2017 20:09

And Sean / Shaun sounds like the noise you make when trying not to vomit . Very apt.

Montsti · 26/02/2017 20:10

Also Riley, Harrison...I'm not a fan of "surname" names but that's just my taste..although I don't mind the sound of Mason or Blake..

But we all have different tastes in names😊

TheGrumpySquirrel · 26/02/2017 20:10

Noah

Urgh just no. Sorry Grin

Ilovewillow · 26/02/2017 20:11

Not keen on odd spellings or hyphenated names but it is totally each to their own. I have a Seth who has been mentioned twice already so it's a good job we are all different and like different names.

elQuintoConyo · 26/02/2017 20:13

Chloe AND Phoebe? Poor Stephanie Beacham Grin

Ryan and Melissa are the only names that I really dislike. Because they bullied me.

Freyathecatt · 26/02/2017 20:13

Humph. My name has been mentioned twice now, with my particular spelling too. Blandest name ever, I'm highly amused that it incites such ire. Grin

Positivitee · 26/02/2017 20:15

Sophie
Noah
Janet
Caleb
Peter
Christopher
Ava

ILoveMonkeys · 26/02/2017 20:16

Wayne/Dwayne.

The only names I literally can't stand.

Not particularly keen on hyphenated names but hey, would be a boring world if we all liked the same.

Positivitee · 26/02/2017 20:16

And bloody Katherine and Kate.

Positivitee · 26/02/2017 20:17

There are hundreds more I do not like.
