Brekken and?

We have a son named Brekken, so we like unusual names. Brekken is a lovely village in Norway (not where we got his name from) but it's unusual, but still pronounceable. That's what we're looking for, any ideas?

shumway · 01/12/2016 14:44

Beacons?

GracyEvans · 01/12/2016 14:44

You do not have a son named Brekken. No way.

HairsprayBabe · 01/12/2016 14:45

Lovely, to keep it scandi but pronounceable go for Ikea, works for both sexes.

2ndpregnancy2016 · 01/12/2016 14:46

Yes I do? Confused

Anyway, clearly everyone is just taking the piss. I know it's unusual, but it's a lovely name.

Readen? As in the cereal...........

GinIsIn · 01/12/2016 14:47

I would have called the first one Ready, and the second one Brekken personally.....

pinkblink · 01/12/2016 14:48

Baxter maybe? Or do you not want both B names?

2ndpregnancy2016 · 01/12/2016 14:49

I don't mind them sharing the same initial Smile

I can't tell what your taste is from OP tbh. If you want names, which are also places (because you say Brekken is a village - I'm not taking the piss out of the beacon connection) then:

Boys-
Phoenix
Brooklyn
James (it's a river I think)
Hudson (a river)
Argyll
Austin
Albany
Sydney
Rio
Orlando

Girls-
Virginia
Paris
London
Clare
Alexandria
Asia
Dakota
India
Juno

Oh everyone's mean. Brekken's cool and I actually can't think of a cool enough match for it.... gimme a while and I'll have a think.

wannabestressfree · 01/12/2016 14:50

Good point Fenella......... :}

KlingybunFistelvase · 01/12/2016 14:50

And he is gorgeous OP! What a cutie.

EverythingEverywhere1234 · 01/12/2016 14:51

Ignoring the rest... I don't know how easy it would be for people to suggest names to go with Brekken to be honest as you say yourself, it's very unique and picked at random. Is it that Scandinavian style that you like?

VivienneWestwoodsKnickers · 01/12/2016 14:51

I used to work with a Brecon, but he was a sexual assaulting bastard.

Do you have Norwegian links OP? Where did you get the name from then?

2ndpregnancy2016 · 01/12/2016 14:51

Thank you Smile what do people think of Maverick?

OP posts:
EverythingEverywhere1234 · 01/12/2016 14:51

He's absolutely gorgeous by the way, little darling

PurpleDaisies · 01/12/2016 14:52

Maverick? It's a maverick choice.

Just don't.

HairsprayBabe · 01/12/2016 14:53

Kallax
Docksta
Malm
Dalfred
Melltorp
Glimma
Billy
Frakta
Vardagen
Flisat

PurpleDaisies · 01/12/2016 14:53

Is that a list of Ikea furniture?

KlingybunFistelvase · 01/12/2016 14:53

Not keen on maverick really...

How about:

Knox
Colt
Augustine
Rowan
River

MaisieDotes · 01/12/2016 14:53

Cant stop laughing at luncheon. Sorry OP

2ndpregnancy2016 · 01/12/2016 14:53

Thank you, I only put the pic up because I wasn't sure how else to show his name, without getting his birth certificate out.

I don't know really, I just came across the name and fell in love. It is used as a name though, have a Google.

I know a Maverick, he's a gorgeous little soul but he gets called Mav which always sounds to me a little like a granny name, not sure why. He has a brother called Indiana. Maybe Knox, Hunter, Oakley, Tanner... Not sure tbh.
