Finding it really hard to pick a boys name, I've got a little boy called Louie and thinking of Jayden for this one could be shortend to J or middle name will be Joseph as that's my dads name so Jayden Joseph could also be JJ. Honest opinions please :)

I think Spero has been very gracious, and courteous, I only had a small exchange with her, and whilst we had different opinions, it was respectful.

I think it's enough now, reading through the last few posts makes me a little uncomfortable, she shouldn't be spoken to rudely.

Remarks were made by all, some you may agree with, some you don't, but it's a discussion, that's life, Spero doesn't need to apologise anymore. I think it's best this thread is ended before it gets too nasty.

And I stand by what I said. Established MC people aren't so preoccupied with class. Spero's hand wringing on the topic had more than a touch of Hyacinth Bucket about it. And I found her comments about the care system, irrelevant, unprofessional, and certainly less than charming.

Sorry, I never did answer the OP. I'm really not a fan of the name Jayden. It's too faddy and will probably date, in my opinion.

As the dog returns to its vomit, so I do I to this thread because it really is such a delicious microcosm of what makes the internet such a fascinating playground.

Some on the thread decry me as a 'snobby fucker' who sneers at the WC and 'looks down on them' whereas others see me as a lower middle class bundle of nueroses, so desperate to escape her working class roots!

Or maybe this is the same criticism? I dunno.

But it's cheered me up, because I thought I must be an awful person hut now it is clear that people bring what they want to bring to a thread and if they are determined to believe that I have actively and personally attacked people's children and foretold some awful fate will befall them by virtue of their name... Well, it's not my problem and there is nothing I can do so I guess I will cease with the handwringing.
