Have been inspired by this thread.

So which names have you only ever heard once?

Can I start of by saying I only know one of the following, all children:

Wolfgang but I do know a wolf too.
Paris
Waldon
Sapphire
Emerald
Troy
Leonie

As a teacher there really are very few names you only come across just once after a few years in the job.

Only one I can definitely think of right now is Zillion.

I know an E-a. Pronounced Edasha. Bizarre.

Germgirl · 05/03/2014 17:55

And then there were the three children who's names I once saw. Not unusual names in themselves but not good together. Girls Mercedes & Porsche (not Portia, which is surely how it should be spelt as a name?) and their brother Jaguar.

EddieVeddersfoxymop · 05/03/2014 18:05

Quinlan (boy) and Cordelia (girl). Not that uncommon names compared to most on here but they stand out to me. Cordelia is a lovely name, I think.

Gunznroses · 05/03/2014 22:08

Imagine, driving a rickety old ford, but your name is "Porsche", what a cross to bear! Sad
