A sister for Jupiter?

We have decided to wait until the twins are born to decide their names as it seems we can't settle on two this time round. We're having b/g twins and have a list of possible names that flow and match each other as well as the other DC.

We both fell in love with Jupiter so it's on the list but cannot find a girl's name that matches (topic wise) or flows. We did love Astra Faye but sounds too close to Ash Tray!

We don't like Juniper, Juno as they're too close in name.

Any ideas?

Do you know, we were just talking at dinner about out favourite planets. Dd said Saturn, dh said Mercury (because he's hot), ds grunted and I said Jupiter.

I have no idea what would go but wanted to say I love Jupiter.

Labootin · 20/09/2013 18:43

Labootin · 20/09/2013 18:44

Yama I would have automatically said Uranus .. Ba boom tish

CakesAreNotTheAnswer · 20/09/2013 18:44

i love the idea of Callista

bundaberg · 20/09/2013 18:45

I really like Astra but I fear you;ll get irritated iwth people saying "like the car?"

how about Astrid?
Luna?
Io is good, or Iona?

MultipleMama · 20/09/2013 18:51

We don't want anything to do with Jupiter. We'd like individual names but ties in with the solar system and is a strong yet beautiful name like Jupiter.

We don't make it easy on ourselves! Damn. Haha.

Stella?

MultipleMama · 20/09/2013 18:55

LaBoo - I can imagine it now, "good morning Uranus. It's a bit windy today!"

Bunda - That's another thing that put us off the name.

I do like Astrid but for some reason I picture a girl with glasses and braces like the Katy Perry video...

BalloonSlayer · 20/09/2013 19:04

Had myself a nice big snoooort at Jupiter but then I had an idea for you:

How about Apollonia

WhiteArmedHera · 20/09/2013 19:04

I see Artemis and Minerva have already been mentioned!

Artemis and Jupiter
Jupiter and Artemis

I want B/G twins to call them these names! Will have to get some hamsters or something!!

MakeHayIsAWhaleNow · 20/09/2013 19:05

Diana - Moon. Or Gaia - Earth? (I love that one).

SmallTorch · 20/09/2013 19:06

Don't choose a moon of Jupiter- it would sound like she's secondary. And don't have a daughter of Jupiter, that's just creepy.

saintmerryweather · 20/09/2013 19:06

i know a girl called Astrid and she is exactly like that. cant actually believe someone suggested Sparkle...
what about Andromeda or Anna for short. cassiopeia? Bianca is apparently a moon. Nova?

Pachacuti · 20/09/2013 19:07

Dione or Rhea (moons of Saturn)
Despina or Larissa (moons of Neptune)
Cordelia, Ophelia, Bianca, Cressida, Desdemona, Juliet, Portia, Rosalind, Belinda, Perdita, Mab, Miranda, Titania or Margaret (moons of Uranus. Yes, there is a moon called Margaret)
