Seven!

That's George Costanza's favourite baby name.

newmumforever · 11/07/2011 02:05

they shouldn't have done that! poor little fella

PadmeHum · 11/07/2011 03:40

I like it. A lot in fact.

Congratulations to the Beckham Family.

LemonDifficult · 11/07/2011 03:42

Really, it could have been so much worse.

rainbowtoenails · 11/07/2011 04:02

It is so much better than their other names.

differentnameforthis · 11/07/2011 04:21

Really like it.

Rillyrillygoodlooking · 11/07/2011 04:23

Is seven Beckham's number?

It just reminds me of the film, which frightened me shitless.

I like Harper, Seven is a bit...Hmm.

(Seven Of Nine? Is Becks a closet Trekkie?)

mummy2b2011 · 11/07/2011 06:17

Seven.... because she was born in the seventh month?

popsicle1984 · 11/07/2011 06:19

Born in the 7th month at 7.55pm and weighing 7lbs, 7 is Beckhams number which he has tattooed on him in roman numerals! Got this from The Sun website!

umiaisha · 11/07/2011 06:34

Isn't Myleene Klass' baby Hero Harper?? Am surprised the Beckham's didn't went with if I am right..

CheerfulYank · 11/07/2011 06:42

It's the name of one of Neil Patrick harris's twins and some minor sleb's too...

Very popular here in the states right now...I used to really like it, but it will go the same way as Taylor. Used to be a slightly bookish sounding upper middle class name, now you hear it all the time on the baby beauty pageant circuit.

momino · 11/07/2011 06:50

I'm most upset. our dd's name is Harper. I quite liked that it wasn't so popular here. The name is ruined. didn't know about Myleene Klass' baby .... ok that's it.

DandyGilver · 11/07/2011 06:58

I like it. Not so sure about the "Seven" bit, but its just the middle name. Good luck to them all.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 11/07/2011 07:06

Zachary I first thought of too! Grin

Harper - not so bad

But really... they have named her half past seven...

boxoftricks · 11/07/2011 08:14

half of peckham...

DurhamDurham · 11/07/2011 08:16

Harper is ok, prob better for a boy. Scout would have been a more fitting tribute to 'To Kill a Mockingbird ' for a girl.

Hate Seven, it just reminds me of that Brad Pitt film, it's very creepy.

duckdodgers · 11/07/2011 08:44

I dont like Harper (sorry momino), I thought they would have went for something a lot more girly tbh. Harper Seven sounds like a spaceship to me.

thekidsmom · 11/07/2011 08:47

I really liked it when I heard 'Harper' - didnt understand Seven until reading this thread!

I think its an excellent choice - reflects her American 'heritage' in choosing a name no-one in this country would think of - didnt put the Beckhams down as big on literature but as 'To Kill a Mockingbird' is a favourite in this house, I approve!

mrstimlovejoy · 11/07/2011 08:56

wouldn't say it was a pretty name infact sounds more like a boys name.thought they would choose something more feminine.

MugglesandLuna · 11/07/2011 08:57

Maybe they are massive fans of 'My Family'

MotherPanda · 11/07/2011 08:59

I would have thought they would have picked a more girly girl name
toomrstimlovejoy.

Also thought about seven of nine... didn't realise seven was actually a name.
