Looking for a 'celebrity' baby name

OK, now if I'm honest, I would say that I genuinely like the unusual names that celebrities give their children. My faves are probably names like Bluebell, Blossom, Peaches, Honey, Tallulah Bell and Betty (for girls) and Romeo, Kingston, Cruz and Ever (for boys). Although I am not a celebrity, I would like a real 'celebrity' name for my next child. I wonder if I am alone in this, or if anybody else feels the same? I doubt that I would have the guts to do this, I will probably end up with something boring from the Top 100, but it's fun to imagine.

So tell me, what names would you go for if you had artistic licence to choose whatever name you liked?

By the way, please feel free to take the piss and post ridiculous names - I will probably like them Grin

quite an entertaining thread

Enjoy

ValiumSingleton · 28/03/2011 09:34

Fresh2death, your first comment on this thread was abrasive and dismissive. You carried on in that vein when other posters wanted to keep the thread lighthearted and goodhumoured. So when somebody finally snapped fuck off at you after a succession of snippy and mocking comments, I don't think that leaves you preening in the moral high ground.

seeker · 28/03/2011 10:49

I'm not sure how anybody could avoid being abrasive and dismissive when faced with Chynna, Brandi, Amaretto or Ever as potential names for human beings.......

MamaLazarou · 28/03/2011 10:51

China is lovely. Chynna looks like it should be pronounced 'chinner'.

MamaLazarou · 28/03/2011 10:51

Oh, scrap that - I've just thought about what it would sound like if you said, 'for China' quickly.

pommedeterre · 28/03/2011 11:00

Maroon! Brilliant. Cardigan for a middle name.

I was going to say Jessabelle but see FriggFRIGG has beaten me to it.

here

Italiangreyhound · 29/03/2011 01:47

Oopse, spelling mistake, Coco!

CheerfulYank · 29/03/2011 02:21

I like Ever and, as previously stated, Azalea. I think it's so pretty! :) Coco is nice because it could be short for something like Cordelia.

Hmm...

Always thought Indigo was really cool for a boy, but could never pull it off (we're a Jack/Sam/Annie kind of family :o ) as well as Cadmium (nn Caddie) for a girl.

JBrd · 29/03/2011 09:15

Cadmium? Only if the second name is Poisoning Grin

seeker · 29/03/2011 11:01

Cadmium, Indigo, Saffron and Rose.

GalacticHero · 29/03/2011 12:34

I confess, I am a Damned fan!

CheerfulYank · 29/03/2011 18:35

Right, Seeker! :)

HappyWifeandMum · 29/03/2011 19:50

Valiant (for a boy) Love it but just cannot bring myself to use it.
Pushing the envelope a little further, how about Spartan? (for a BOY)

Guinevere or Juliette for a girl.

BornAgainDomesticGoddess · 30/03/2011 05:49

HappyWifeandMum, do we know each other? Grin

Quenelle · 30/03/2011 14:59

If I had a daughter I would like to give her my name, because it's lovely. But that's the ultimate in narcissism isn't it?

SilkStalkings · 30/03/2011 15:51

Worcester Bosch for a boy, Crown Derby for a girl.

seeker · 31/03/2011 07:16

Wedgwood for a boy - Ainsley for a girl.

BlueChampagne · 31/03/2011 12:40

Damned fan here too - also showing my age. So, how about Vaniana for a girl?

dexifehatz · 21/04/2011 23:39

BornAgain-I really don't think you can tell someone to go away from a public forum! It's not your living room. You want a celebrity name? Fine, but don't be rude or an idiot,OK?
