Looking for a 'celebrity' baby name

OK, now if I'm honest, I would say that I genuinely like the unusual names that celebrities give their children. My faves are probably names like Bluebell, Blossom, Peaches, Honey, Tallulah Bell and Betty (for girls) and Romeo, Kingston, Cruz and Ever (for boys). Although I am not a celebrity, I would like a real 'celebrity' name for my next child. I wonder if I am alone in this, or if anybody else feels the same? I doubt that I would have the guts to do this, I will probably end up with something boring from the Top 100, but it's fun to imagine.

So tell me, what names would you go for if you had artistic licence to choose whatever name you liked?

By the way, please feel free to take the piss and post ridiculous names - I will probably like them Grin

Alopogies, BornA, I perhaps took you instructions to take the piss too literally.

Or am I just a nominative predictive genius?

Flint

RobynLou · 23/03/2011 16:26

my two girl s have 'normal' first names, but they have two middle names each which are more exotic, a good way of compromising maybe?

I feel like they're not saddled with outlandish names then - they can easily be dropped.

oohlaalaa · 23/03/2011 17:10

They are probably not unusual enough but:

Girls: Mimi, Jordana, Fleur

Boys: Vincent, Theo, Beau, Penri

I adored Hera for a girl. Wife of Zeus.

Lollypolly · 24/03/2011 05:14

Oh I LOVE Hera - wish I'd thought of that. Wife of Zeus AND Goddess of women (although known to be very jealous). Not enough reason to have another child though Grin

AKissIsNotAContract · 24/03/2011 05:27

Not a celebrity child, but I've always wanted to name a boy Zephaniah after Benjamin Zephaniah.

coccyx · 24/03/2011 06:11

You can call your child whatever you like surely???
Why do you need to be a 'celebrity' to choose a ridiculous name ?

BlueChampagne · 24/03/2011 15:14

Wolf (one up on Fox!)
