No interest in my handmade crayon tote bags on Marketplace

Hi everyone,
I'm hoping for a bit of advice from fellow parents. 😊
I've recently started making handmade Disney-themed children's crayon tote bags and have listed them on Facebook Marketplace, but unfortunately I haven't had any enquiries yet.
I'd really appreciate some honest feedback from a parent's point of view. Is there anything that would make you more likely to buy one? Is it the photos, the description, the price, or is it just not something you'd look for on Marketplace?
I genuinely believe the quality and price are good, but I'd love to know what I could improve. I've shared them on a few Strood Facebook groups too, but still haven't had any messages or comments. Similar products seem to sell well in shops like Argos, so I'm wondering what I'm missing.
Any constructive advice would be hugely appreciated.

Even if it was a fantastic product, very few people will want to pay what a handmade product actually costs to make. Unless you can come up with something that is made cheaply and quickly it is unlikely to ever be worth it.

Sorry OP but not something I'd buy my children as I can't see what the point of it is.

Those children aren't pictured in their home with their location easily identifiable.

If people don't know the dangers of posting identifying details about children then they've been living under a rock.

This was my first thought too! OP seems very confident in them… I suspect friends and family have gushed over them out of obligation and now OP thinks she just needs to show all the mums and they’ll want one for their DC.

I was thinking more about the irrational AI fears mentioned.

I don't want to be unkind but the bag looks way too big for the child holding it, the things to hold the pens look too small, they look like they'd fall out and it looks very homemade. I don't understand the need for it anyway, we'd use a zippable kids rucksacks and a pencil case if we wanted to take this sort of thing out with us, your stuff would end up allover the car with one of these.

Etsy would be better place. Marketplace- people want things super cheap or free.

I don't know the price but I wouldn't have a use for this, to big for a child and why have the pens on the outside where can fall out easily. You might have more success on Etsy but it's not for me

Keep drawing materials/ crafts in? I think it is a good idea, but usually children have lots of crayons and pencils, so perhaps a zip pocket on the side to hold them all instead of individual slots? I think the price is way too much, perhaps £ 9.99 is more realistic

Disney fabrics are copyrighted so you can not sell items made with them.

I make my living selling on etsy and other platforms, this isn't my area but I can give you some general advice. You need to avoid anything that infringes copyright, so def change the fabric, I can't see the price? Worth doing some research on what your competitors charge. Take as many photos as you can, different angles close-ups etc video. Try and find a niche e.g on etsy customised items are very popular if you can add a name on or do something your competitors are not doing that will give you an edge.

Personally , I see no need whatsoever for a bag solely for crayons- seems completely pointless to me. I carry a normal bag and put all that stuff in it along with other things. This looks like they'd fall out and all over the place so not at all practical. Sorry- I just think the item has no practical use

Basic selling principles are - if the buyer cannot see the point of the product clearly then it's not doing its job. Harsh but true

I think it’s a good idea to separate the pencils from the papers,so a pocket on the side would be fine
