Just popping by to see what you have all been up to.

Have spent two days cooped up in a boardroom (and suspect the excitement has brought on a bout of tonsilitis), dosed up on Nurofen and I've got to enact an evacuation tomorrow! I was in bed by 8.30 last night but, am having a great time, dh has had the week off and has washed and ironed the few clothes I left, washed all the windows down and re-arranged my conservatory! Oh and the dcs have missed me, I am tres popular the minute I walk in the door. I love this going to work lark.

Bog all crafting done in this house today. .

Nothing new to show you as the weather has been sooooo nice we have spent the last few days doing outsidey stuff - gardening, walking, playing etc.

I have posted a quick note about my Etsy Shop though because I'm selling my soft items at sale prices - quick plug in case anyone wants to grab a bargain before I delete the listings and take them to our village craft fair/ fete in June.

Been catching up on everyone's blogs as dh has been working late, nice to peruse without my ears getting a bashing about work

Right, I'm shuffling off to bed in a mo - been using my Flexi Bar and I'm on Training DVD2. Ooh, Ouch !!! Bloody good though.

Just a quicky. Bought some stuffing for my mushroom yesterday and as ever came back with fabric remnants as well. I get so excited to unwrap the bundle when I get home and see what I've got!!!
Meri - So sorry to hear about Bear. I understand how you are feeling . Lovely snaps from your holiday. We are going to San Francisco 2010!! DH has family out there so we will visit them. Just got to save the pennies up for the next 2 years!!

ds is now going to nursery 2 days a week so i have weds & thurs to sew etc, but slow starting today as have bad headache. fingers crossed my superbuzzy fabric order might arrive soon.

and eeek, have just been going through new posts on bloglines and spotted my toadstool tutorial on whip up!!

chris- thanks... we may be going agin sometime in the future... as I want to see my friends again and there are somethings that I want DS to do.. like that the ferry from larkspur... its fab... and wander around Petaluma.. where the filmed such things as the back to the future movies, American Grafiti and tons more...

most of it is down to the fact that they either have their own groups on flickr for people to post images of their craft projects in (craftzine, sew mama sew, plush you etc all do), or they just trawl round flickr in general looking for stuff to feature. i didn't know any of the links were going to happen until they started appearing on my sitemeter referral page.

the only downside is when it's originated from flickr, it's a bit disappointing when they link back to flickr instead of the blog, but still, it's great to be 'spotted'!

LK - brilliant - well done - just a thought - do you put your blog address in the description of your images on flickr? I often click through on stuff I am interested in...

also dior I think there is a site called technorati where you can put in your blog addy and see where it is linked to from (or maybe that was just a weird dream I had once!)

Just thought I'd post what I made this evening for a friends birthday as I am off to Chichester tomorrow for the weekend so won't be around until Sunday evening.

I've made something new for me but using my existing designs and wondered whether I should make some for my Etsy shop. Some feedback (good or bad) would be fantabbydosey.

yay for dior!, i've done a search on beaded jewellery to find some image groups you could join if that helps

yes, join as many groups as you want, then the easiest way to do it is click on an image, there will be some little icons appear above the image, one of which will say 'send to group', which will give you a list of all the groups you are a member of and you choose from that list. you can join as many groups as you want, but each image has a limit of 10 groups only (you get more if you have a pro account, but that costs money!)
