have blogged the teacosy I made, though you can't see it very well as it's not on the teapot, and some little tenfingers people, and what i received from Diane in texas in the vintage swap - the necklace is much more delicate than I would normally choose, but y'know what - I love it!

I have had my beads out this morning.. I recieved three lots of beads in the post yesterday and have had a good play but I need to order some more silver beads and um.. I dunno I forgot... anyway my creations this morning... I need coffee now though so i will take a break from messing with beads and might write up the recipe i wingged for some strawberry and lime mini cheesecakes I did the other day.

I might just drag out my sketch book and possibly my paints before I have to clean the house... before the pasterer returns to finish plastering the bathroom before the plumber comes on monday/tueday... grumble grumble

I have just blogged a little painting I have been doing on a page from a torn up childrens book.. its turned out ok I think.... have since removed some of the bit I erm..smudged...

Got quite a bit of stuff finished up on the train (how to keep your personal space on a commuter train.... turns out all you have to do is wield some knitting needles). Want to do a bit of bag making this weekend but my feet ache so much from walking 5 miles of track in a pair of jeans and DM boots yesterday (quite the weather for it) that I'll have to see if I can be bothered to lift a limb to do anything!!

i still haven't started my doll for nbg's swap - i just can't seem to get started - i seem to have a terror of cutting into fabric let alone my fear of the sewing machine!

My beady table looks a lot clearer now & DH has done a fab job of cleaning the conservatory roof, fixing the fence & tidying the garden. What a star! I think he deserves a beer !!

I'm shocked to say I ahve done bugger all this week - however I haven't had much opportunity. My new sewing machine arrived but no instruction manual with it so I have had to buy one so I can work out how to thread it up! So can't use it yet to find out if I like it! I finished my skirt but haven't made a start on my jacket. And I'm crocheting a dress for my doll but not entirely happy with it ... have sent off for a book with more patterns in (hopefully) so I can get some more ideas. However I have a feeling it might get abandoned and started from scratch again before I have finished!

LK congratulations on your dh's appointment!! Even my dh was impressed!

gm, yes i did, i haven't emailed anyone back yet, or even counted up how many have signed up , will do this week and sort out swap partners after friday.

i ache and hurt all over, we've been weeding the garden all weekend, it's a big garden and there are a lot of weeds, the biggest dandelions and nettles (i HATE the smell of nettles), it all had to go. we've not finished yet, so it will have to wait until next weekend, plus we have a load of wood arriving on tues for dh to build a deck. we've got until bank holiday monday to get it sorted ready for ds's birthday party.

am off to clean the bathroom, have a quick shower then settle in the sitting room to watch lost (am still stunned by ben in last weeks episode )

actually, it seems my email is playing up slightly, i keep having messages saying delivery failure, but they are coming ages after the original email has been sent. dizzy, i've just had one now saying the email i sent to you last week has not been delivered! anyway, it said no worries about using your own toadstool pattern, the idea is to personalise it as much as you like

have done no crafti ng at all this weekend, waiting on an order of beads and am fed up of DH and DS at the moment.. one of those mornings where I had everything ready despite feeling a bit crap anmd coldy and DS ran off with the sun cream and then preteneded he didn't know where it was, so I said no gogos and no Mario (Nintendo DS) today, so he cried then DH comes downstairs and I get in trouble? WTF.. mutter grumble

anyway I will attempt to do some beading and maybe a smidge of painting but the estate agent is comming around in an hour and the house is a tip with the bathroom being done, then DH will ask me questions about what the agent said when he calls later and I will not have a clue due to sive-like brain. then DH will get huffy...rant over... I need coffee... and possible a biscuit too...
