And here's yet another thread. Blimey we can chat!!!! I've been in London the past couple of days, looking forward to catching up on everything....

dior, visit other blogs and leave lots of comments, bloggers always tend to follow links back and have a peak. join some other crafty forums, some of us also post on a site called craft forum. join flickr and also post your photo's there, and then join some of the groups, there are lots covering beady jewellery, cards and cross stitch. lots of networking is the way to increase your visitors. hth

LK - I'm thinking about signing up for your swap but I've been working on my own toadstool/mushroom designs for a while now so could I use one of those and not follow your tut?

have eaten too many peanut m&ms and am feeling very sick - but wanted to get this back in my threads...

i've been fiddling around with my favicon (you know the little blogger icon that appears at the beginning of the web address bar, blogger one is an white/orange 'b'. look uptop, the mumsnet one is a grey and black 'm'), well you can personalise it. have just given it a go and made it a little red 'LK', it's working for me here, but can you lot give it a try and tell me if you can see it too?

when my blog opens up it should be at the beginning of the address bar, where it says www. etc

in theory anyway, i can see it, but not sure if it translates to other computers, maybe i need to read the rest of the instructions

i've wanted to change the favicon for ages, i fell in love with wee wonderfuls little green 'w' when i first started blogging

works for me in firefox on pc LK - looks great...now we'll all want to know how to do it of course...(where LK leads... MN crafters follow )

it's an updated post and much easier to do, previously you needed to find a host site for a .ico file which was where i got stuck with it last time

hello everyone sorry i haven't been around much since returning.. its manic here.... have a few hours so in mid-write up and upload of califonia pictures to my blog, did i mention the bathroom is being done too? everything is ripped out (except for the toilet) the pasterer comes tommrow and the house is a tip... and I got an e-mail from my Dad saying that our dog Bear died yesterday so have had a good cry over that, we had him since I was 12.

I just got some pink candy jade beads in the post so I may try to do something with them and have a lot to catch up on craftwise too...

where has my mojo gone.. anyone seen it?

Dior-- thank you! well er my husband would anyway as he took the picture.. well he took most of them... thats the great thing about being married to a professional photographer.. the holiday photos are always great

not done any craftin today aside from order £45 worth of beads... though they are to do some jewellery for the framing gallery that wants a few of my things, and for a watch that I have a commision for.

So sorry about your dog meri, that must be hard for you . I guess you got to see him whilst you were there? Some good memories of him I hope.

Miaou- thank you.. they still have 7 others.. yup 7 all charity cases in one way or another... 1 big dog Hunter he is some sort of water dog mix who was at an animal adoption fair and half starved, Holly who was found on the road just before x-mas the year before last... the rest are pugs... Stormy a pug and chihuahua mix she was from a Pug Rescue charity fair, Ricky who is pug and boston terrier (he looks like a bat and has a bad heart) he was found with a tag saying he wandered, my parents tried to take him back but there was know one at the house save an ancient goat and a claims officer.. Next is Sherman pure bread pug found wandering on Sherman avenue, noone ever collected him despite adds and posting at the vets. Last is Sissy and her son Nico, my parents bought them but the mother Sissy was abused as a breeding dog she has a horrible scar down her back. All lovely dogs though, DS huged them all every day while we were there.. Bear will be missed though.
