LK, I got your email last night and my toadstool is complete but I havent posted it yet, so i emailed my partner and she is in the same position.

Jg you've reminded me I need to book dd some swim lessons before she starts school in Sept.

Aim for today is to finish another doll, buy more stuffing and book the sewing machine in for a service.

nbg, no worries about the toadstool, the worst part of organising a swap is if people are let down, although saying that, i haven't actually heard anything at all from my own swap partner, she hasn't replied to any of my emails , and i've already posted her toadstool, maybe when it arrives it will kick start some communication

NBG - if you mean the shaggy loop one, it could be done in more or less any colour combination of rings & beads.
I'd like to do a version with more rinsg on too, to mazimise the 'jangle' factor

No crafting today as dd & I went Racing. It peed down and we were the only ones sat round the paddock apart from one old lady.

Still we had fun and a winner !

Hello, still not doing much crafting (or blogging for that matter) but I must stick a rocket up my backside because I need to send the doll off soon. Miaou, think I need some help finding the tut for the dolls hair, got the link but can't find it!

I do however, have a classy new orange bob, yes, it's orange, well actually copper but it's very bright, so bright I fear that sunglasses are in order! However hideous that may sound I actually love it and the cut is very 60s circa Mary Quant, so now I've rid my wardrobe of boring clothes, I kind of resemble a short, pale coppery coloured Mary Quant. Just wanted to share that.

Lol at vintage. You don't like?
It's lovely, I keep swishing it to see if I can dislodge a hair, it's very tidy!
Mind you, I shall now have to wear lippy every day, otherwise I will look like mad bird with orange head!

I love short hair, sadly I just look like a bloke with really short hair, an effect not helped by the tendency of my hair to go curly when it's short. The only time my hair behaves is when it is in jaw length bob.

Got to go, dh wants to hog the laptop!! Night all.

ty ranting shes sppossed to have diff coloured hair and dress but i just used what i had in and felt eyes but i dont like the feel

she's my first knitted toy so im well chuffed lol

and dont get me started on my machine i can get her to work properly and its killing me im sooo gutted i want to make a memory comforter for little one
