not done any crafts aside form one little painted/drawn page sunday night... we went to the Bull Ring yesterday so DS could watch the Krispy Kreme donut machine make the donuts, then he at about 1/4 to 1/2 of a donut and wanted to go find the jelly belly jelly beans. It was a fun day but exauting, and then last night DH and I went to the first school meeting for DS's school that he starts in Sept. EEK.. my little boy is goign to be at real school... its very nice its a Forest School so should be very good place for DS...

I have all my beads out but nothing wants to go together and be anything so am in a bit of a funk and DS will be home in an hour... I need to order some toggles but am just in a bit of a blah today...

Gina Ferrari is a flippin' genius, and she has the same sewing machine as me...so does that mean one day I'll be as good???? (wishful thinking, methinks)

I've finally got my toadstool finished and although I didn't exactly follow LK's tutorial it's the physical outcome of the churnings of my mind!!

Oh god, just been on the flckr group for the toadstool swap. They're all so good. I'm ashamed . I'm not sure whether my picture loaded properly or not either. (mind you probably best if it didn't). I will be practising some sewing tonight I think. I've got a night off and DH is in Denmark, so I'll be all alone and should have time to do some stuff (if I don't fall asleep on the sofa that is!)

Blimey, I haven't been on here much - I don't seem to have much time at all but I'll be off shortly to check out all the toad stools.

I've been wrestling with a new picture for what seems like ages but I've finally blogged it now. It's been a real pain but I'm fairly happy with it I suppose.

i did a jewellery party on friday it was uless full of old ladies not my market at all but i sold one necklace lol

im furiously knitting whilst the foooty is on im so bored no decent tv on at all i cant even do big brother not bothered at all this year

went bloghopping and foung imagingermonkeys blog and etsy shop and ordered a comission

and i have got my sewing machine ot bt cant work out how to use it ???????

its not fair

no crafting - shopping for DDs birthday party on saturday and swimming instead. SWIMMING goddam osteopath has told me I need to exercise if my poor back is ever going to get better so now instead of spending my evenings happily hunched over the laptop/sewing machine/knitting needles/embroidery hoop/teapot I have to go F*ing SWIMMING! Bah! BAH!

oh jg, i sympathise, i hate going swimming, always drag myself there for the sake of the dc's. we're all going on sunday morning, oh goody!

I don't mind so much going with the dds - I get to stand around a lot and its time I'd be spending with them anyway - it's losing what little kid free craft time I have got in order to get to the pool, struggle up and down a pool 30 times, get out and shiver, shower and change, drive home, have cuppa, collapse...aaarrrrgh! why can't we hunch AND be healthy? ladies be warned - get up and stretch a lot when you are working, don't carry heavy loads on just one shoulder, don't carry heavy toddlers on just one side all the time (and most importantly - in my case - just don't give birth at all!!!)

anyway...hopefully this means I can skip pilates tomorrow night and do some knitting! Hunchy bunchy knitting

jg oi know what you mean i have to knit with my feet up in front of me or i end up all hunched over

wellafter two hours of fiddling adjusting and cyber hand holding i still couldnt get my machine to stictch its all threaded i have adjusted the uper thread tension checked and checked agin it's set right just dont know what to do so my mum is coming over

could do with borrowing someones gran really as its so old a model

me thinks may have to save for a cheapy new one
