They'd make a lovely present for someone, do you still do them?

It won't be until next month, so don't panic (her birthday is not until September) but I think I'll probably commission one of those at some point.

helllooooo!, we've just got back from visiting my mum. i am dreading tomorrow though, dd has had 3 very late nights on the trot, friday was 11pm , saturday was slightly better at 9.30pm, and tonight she finally fell asleep in the car just gone 9, but still not the most comfortable of places to sleep. ds can catch up and have a nap tomorrow, but poor dd is in school. but she's had a great weekend, one of my brothers lives across the road from my mum and his dd is the same age as our dd, so as soon as we arrived on friday evening, she had waited up to see dd, they've just played solidly the whole time, plus had a sleepover on saturday night.

me, dh & ds all had to share a bed last night though, i got about 2 hours sleep as dh was snoring, and ds was coughing all night and then threw up, fantastic!

am off to bed very, very soon!

Hello!! Just a quickish post to update on my Big trip to London, then I have to play with children/tidy house. Then I'll go check out blogs properly.
JeanGenie - Thanks for the info on Covent Garden. We had a fab time. We got into Russell Square at 11am on Sat, dumped our bags at the hotel then ambled into CG. What an atmosphere, comedians/musicians/street artists it was a little like Barcelona. We went to the craft market (where I was looking at jewellery saying hmm the girls can do that. . . .and cheaper!!) Went in Crabtree & Evelyn to buy my fave body stuff (and was shown/sampled a new one which I'll have to order now - deeeelish) Went in soooo many shops, but I just kept thinking hang on to your cash Misty you'll see something you like more and we've got drinks to be buying at the ball) We went in a great pub that had some superb ales and snarfed down some food. Then on the way back we went into Neals Yard. I found the tea shop and was most chuffed that it had been pointed out to me else I would have walked past it. Bought some jasmine tea and ummed over a lovely little teacup/saucer - didn't think it would survive the tube on the way home. Neals Yard is just excellent.
The ball was superb. Thank you Dior the bracelet was just excellent and pulled the dress off brilliantly. I have to say I think I looked quite nice. I may post some pics later.
Oh yeah and we walked to trafalgar square and it was all road blocked (pedestrians only) and there was a youth group having a march to get drugs/guns/knives off the street. Drums and everything. It was massive I have to say I got a bit emotional. (I'm like that - I like to see people who care about a cause)
So all in all - ace weekend. The best thing though was when we went to pick up the girls and they charged at us . . . . . Lovely.
