Oh poo. Meant to post that on companion thread. Obviously befuddled. Sorry if too much unnecessary detail.

Love to all. And happiest of birthdays to mini Tree. xxxx

Mishta · 22/01/2010 02:37

Just quickly; have posted on companion thread (thought it was this one). Not feeling great right now, so will update later. Shangrila, think the decision to wait and go 'naturally' if you can, is probably a good one (hindsight is a wonderful thing) xxx

linspins · 22/01/2010 07:55

Shangrila, glad you are going with what feels better for you. Lots of love hun. xxx

Off to be induced today. Am very anxious but need to do this now. All knitters to the bench! xxxxx

busierbee · 22/01/2010 08:56

Oh ladies - what an immense day.
Linsy darling am sending you much, much love and empathy for the day ahead.
Mishta - I can hear in your voice that things are hard and hope by the time you read this things much better.
Shangrila - never feel you cannot post on here - you were one of the first to reach out to me and are never far away. Instinct is so important in pregnancy and birth - sometimes the only bit of dignity and power we have left.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to little darling Treelette too.
I am full of love for you all.
kisses
Bee

GGRR MN ate my message!

In summary:

Congrats Mishta! Name change to Mishtabel coming up?!

Shangrila - I'm a great believer that in childbirth, nature (and you) know best. Could the vomiting be early labour though?

Lins - Good luck!!!

I second Bee, just because we're not pregnant, doesn't mean we don't want to hear your wonderful news. We've all been through hell and deserve our little bit of happiness.

Much love and luck and strength

Thanks for well-wishes everyone. And Bezz, Mishtabel sounds good to me; was trying to think how to incorporate her initials.

Now, can't write much, feeling a bit surreal at moment. Please don't worry too much ( I am trying not to) but Bella has been flown down to a major hospital a couple of hours away where they have a NICU. Her breathing was getting worse, and xray showed she had a pneumothorax, and also that airway thing prem babies can have (lack of surfacant; name escapes me), even though she was 39 weeks. She now has a chest tube to drain the air, is on C-pap, which relieves her of some of the effort of breathing, and was flown out about half an hour ago. I am hoping to get down there tomorrow somehow. If I sound all together and calm, I'm not. I am sort of numb and can only think about it on a very superficial level IYKWIM. I do feel better about it now than I did earlier on, when her condition was slowly deteriorating and we were waiting for retrieval team. I know she is in the best possible hands.

Going to try and get some sleep, but will update as I can. Thanks for being there xxxx

bezzyk · 22/01/2010 09:48

Oh Mishta, how traumatic for you. So NOT how it's meant to be. Pisses me off, why can't things just be straight forward for us. Just not fair, not fair.

She's in VERY good hands, and it going to be just fine, just fine.

You're in my thoughts at this very nerve wracking time.

Much love

BK

Oh Mishta.

All will be well. Just hang on and you will get your precious babymoon, it's coming.

Hang on in there.

katiecubs · 22/01/2010 10:11

Mishta just to say i'm thinking of you and little Bella. Agree with Tree and Bezzy, she will be just fine so hang in there. Lots of love xxxxxx

Havingkittens · 22/01/2010 10:21

Oh Mishta, I posted on the other thread but just read your post on here. How stressful for you love, hang in there. Best wishes and all fingers crossed for you and your little one. x

VivClicquot · 22/01/2010 10:25

Oh Mishta, lots of love and congratulations on your gorgeous arrival. Bella is a beautiful name. Am thinking of you lots - and echo the others saying hang on in there.

Kittens - I saw your post on the other thread and I just wanted to say that I hope you're doing okay. I went through exactly the same thing last year and it's horrible having to sit and wait for two weeks. I'm not going to say, "try not to worry" because you will, so I just hope it all works out for you.

Morning everyone else xx

busierbee · 22/01/2010 10:36

Mishta honey
Had not heard of her arrival before I posted my last message so firstly
Congratulations to you and I love her name so much. She will be fine and is good hands.
If you were in England she would be with you I guess in your hospital - because Australia is so huge, hospitals do not have all they need in local one.
Oh what I am trying to say is;
It must feel terrible to have her wrenched away from you. And you need her in your arms darling. And you will have her.
Beautiful name. Bella Rose.
I wish we could all be there to hold your hand. And her tiny one too.
love and kisses
Bee

busierbee · 22/01/2010 10:43

Hello everyone else too
I can feel us all together today.
Do you know what I mean?
Am crying with the overwhelmingness of today.
Tree's little Treelette being one.
Mishta and little Bella being brand new.
Lins hopefully in labour as we sit here.
Shangrila waiting too.
Kittens waiting for her next scan - Kitty could you ask them if you can go in one week?
I think, for reassurance, they may say yes. They must know how scared you are.
Me waiting for my next stupid, hopeless results from ridiculous ovary check up.
Peanut waiting for her cycle to move on.
Always waiting for something here.
Cosy up in the carriages ladies; there has been some unexpected delays and we are to budge up in carriage one as carriage two is joining us for the day. Hurray.
xxxxxxx

treedelivery · 22/01/2010 10:48

Women do a lot of waiting.

For the knight in shining armour, for babies, for babies to grow, for babies to grow and make grandbabies.......

Waiting.

Mishta, I have got confused about where I posted, so I'm just going to repeat myself - Congratulations

A time to pass between the carriages, and wander between benches outside various hospitals. Passing out hot drinks and warming words.

busierbee · 22/01/2010 10:48

Was also thinking could we all post on here for the next few days for Mishta so she does not get confused?
I am posting myself outside Bella's hospital for next few hours to keep eye on her? Anyone wish to join me - so hot here in Australia.
xxxxxxxx

treedelivery · 22/01/2010 10:49

I'll bring the factor 50.

busierbee · 22/01/2010 10:49

Hello Tree
How is birthday baby?
Nine more posts until thread five is born.
Shall I do the honours or would you like this one?
Bee xxxxxxx

treedelivery · 22/01/2010 10:50

oooo I might do one.

busierbee · 22/01/2010 10:51

Crossing posts again.
Seven more posts now - oh no six in fact.
Must stop wasting posts on drivel.

LittlePoot · 22/01/2010 10:52

God - I wish! Definitely beats rainy London. Room for a little one? I'm in danger of getting precisely no work at all done today logging in here every ten minutes waiting excitedly for news! More important things to think about today. Thread babies are the best! x

busierbee · 22/01/2010 10:55

There most definitely is room for a little Poot. Welcome to carrage one. We have hot chocolate today (brandy in for me and Bezzy). I am doing nothing but posting and reading in case you have not noticed.
I have butterflies. Feel like I am waiting for a member of my family to birth.
It is a big day.
Lins was the co-founder really.
She brings hope to us all.
Bee xxxxxx
buggering off to do few work emails for bit.
Boo.

Oh Mishta, hope you can be together soon. So sorry things had to be complicated. Bella is a beautiful name - I have an Ella.

And Lins - induction is now ongoing I guess, hope to hear news soon.

Shangrila - good decision, now the waiting game.

So many babies all coming at once, it's fantastic.
