Yes mine was Tuesday just gone!xx

BooMamaBear · 07/03/2020 15:48

You're ahead of me tho if I make it week 13 having had the ok from the 11 week tests I'd be well chuffed - I have to wait til 2 weeks after CVS coz it carries a 1-2% miscarriage risk for 2 weeks after!! Xx

Treaclepie19 · 07/03/2020 18:06

I remember that risk worry from the amnio last time. I kept having bits of spotting and stuff and it scared the life out of me.

I really hope things work out. If they don't I don't think I can try again.
Crazy to think I'll be 10 weeks tomorrow!

BooMamaBear · 07/03/2020 22:23

@Treaclepie19 - I'm not thinking that far ahead yet but I'm not sure whether physically and mentally I could go through it a 4th time if I have to have a 3rd TFMR this time! 10 weeks is good tho the mc risk is significantly lower by that point! Xxx

Treaclepie19 · 08/03/2020 06:57

I cant imagine how hard it must be @BooMamaBear. I really hope all works out for you Flowers

ShootingStar2020 · 08/03/2020 08:00

@Treaclepie19 - lovely pic. Not too much longer to wait now. Your doing so well.

@BooMamaBear - hope you are feeling ok today.

@Mangoandbroccoli - have you had a good week?

Thanks for all the positive encouragement. Hopefully we will be lucky this month but trying to prepare myself that we will have to carry on. Our Due date was 22 April which is fast coming around. One of the mums in DD’s class announced she was pregnant on Thursday. My little girl asked me if we were going to have another one. She asks a lot. While she didn’t know about the pregnancy last year I think she picked up on something. Fingers crossed!!! Xxx

Treaclepie19 · 08/03/2020 08:07

I really hope this is your month @Shootingstar2020. When will you be testing? 🤞

Thanks lovely. Just got to plod along for the next few weeks until the scan xxx

BooMamaBear · 08/03/2020 11:29

Hope everything works out for you too @Treaclepie19 -I feel ok until the afternoon just got lots of tummy aches!
@ShootingStar2020 -fingers crossed for you this month when are you to ovulate/how many DPO are you?
My daughter keeps telling me she wants a little brother she doesn't know that we've already lost two potential brothers for her either! Xx

Treaclepie19 · 08/03/2020 11:38

Thanks @BooMamaBear. I'm feeling dreadful at the moment. Just lying on the sofa feeling sick.
My 4yo is so not up for having a sibling. Hoping he will come round to the idea.

BooMamaBear · 08/03/2020 12:19

Oh dear @Treaclepie19 -I hope you feel better soon -that's pretty much what I do from 3pm onwards if I get up I feel dizzy! Mine usually gets better by week 10 so I hope yours goes soon!! I'm sure you me DS will come round to the idea!! Xx

Mangoandbroccoli · 09/03/2020 09:12

Lovely week thank you @ShootingStar2020 - I had a long weekend away with my best friend which was fantastic 🥰 Back to earth with a bump this morning though as I had a call to say my urine results were back from booking in and I've got a UTI and group B strep 😳 Bit rubbish but if these end up being the only bad results this time then I'll take that 🤞🏼

ShootingStar2020 · 09/03/2020 21:46

Thanks ladies. Am going to try and wait until next Thursday to test. We shall see!!

@Mini12 - I realised that I never said lovely news on your scan. Here’s to getting your NIPt results hurdle ticked off this week. Everything crossed.

@Mangoandbroccoli - weekend sounds lush. Rubbish test results but that can be fixed. Good to know so you can get it sorted.

Xxxx

BooMamaBear · 09/03/2020 22:27

Fingers crossed for you for Thursday @ShootingStar2020 xx

Treaclepie19 · 11/03/2020 15:58

Keeping everything crossed for you @ShootingStar2020!

I'm having a bit of a day of it.
Coronavirus panic is getting to me today. I'm worrying that our scans will be delayed or cancelled and I won't get to check the nuchal.
I'm having a little wobble over everything if I'm honest.

Mangoandbroccoli · 11/03/2020 16:43

@Treaclepie19 Try not to worry - they're different departments for a start so I wouldn't imagine corona would impact antenatal testing / scans. When are you due to find out any results?

I had a reaction to my antibiotics so a bit of a rough start to the week but on the up now 💪🏻

Absolutely everything crossed for you @ShootingStar2020 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Treaclepie19 · 11/03/2020 17:19

The scan isn't until 1st April to check the nuchal. I'm still not sure if we're right to not have an amnio but we're going to stick to the plan.
I think tbh the coronavirus panic around is just getting to me. I struggle with OCD and health anxiety but it's been quite controlled. I guess this has just triggered it.

Sorry to hear you had a reaction to antibiotics. That's never fun 😩 Glad you're on the up now though.

Mini12 · 12/03/2020 05:49

Hi, @ShootingStar2020 thanks for the congrats!! We got our results back which was good news so wer really happy now that main hurdle has jumped! Feeling relieved!!

Everything crossed for you shooting star for next few weeks of testing!

GandTisgoodforme · 12/03/2020 13:07

Hi Treaclepie19

It's really expensive but Vision do a full NIPT of all chromosomes, it's around £720. Don't know if that would help in your circumstances and avoid the amino...

Treaclepie19 · 12/03/2020 13:33

@GandTisgoodforme oh really? I had no clue! I'll have to look into it. Thanks so much for that Smile

GandTisgoodforme · 12/03/2020 13:46

@treaclepie19
This is the one, wasn't sure if your chromosome issue was microdeletions or just deletions.. if it's just deletions then I think this test would pick it up.

Treaclepie19 · 12/03/2020 13:54

I'm not actually sure. Thank you. I'll have a think about it. At this point I feel like I just dont trust anything.
I'm so concerned about getting ill and missing scans but I can't think like that I suppose.

BooMamaBear · 12/03/2020 21:04

Did you test today @ShootingStar2020? Xx

NoCallerID · 13/03/2020 16:13

Hi all, sorry to jump on here - we're actually not TTC yet, TMFR is only two weeks ago... but I've posted on the TTC board and I don't think anyone can help so wondered if anyone on here could. Medical TMFR at 14 weeks, I'm still bf my toddler (20 months). I'm wondering when my period will return, as in will my body recognise I'm not feeding a newborn and therefore ovulate again like before this pregnancy or will it take a few months like after my full term birth?
I hope I'm not offending anyone on here, I guess I'm just trying to find some hope on these dark days and the thought of TTC again soon really does help. Thank you and I hope you all get your rainbow baby very soon! X

Mangoandbroccoli · 13/03/2020 20:47

Hi @NoCallerID please don't apologise or feel you're offending anyone here - we're a friendly, supportive bunch who empathise through having all experienced a similar tragedy. So you're very welcome here but, of course, so sorry that you also find yourself in this situation. In terms of periods returning generally, many of the women on this board have experienced them returning quite soon and within 6 weeks, I think. I had prolonged bleeding for 3 months following my tfmr due to retained placenta after the delivery, but a scan did actually show that I was still ovulating within that (amazingly!). I don't know how breastfeeding your 20 month old would affect that, but I would assume that you'd go back to whatever your normal was prior to this loss - clearly you were still ovulating whilst breastfeeding in order to have conceived your second, so I'd assume that would be the case again within a few weeks but am absolutely no expert on this. If you fancy trying it, you could look into temping - this was the only way I knew I was ovulating as I have irregular cycles and never had success with opks. It can't predict when ovulation will happen but does confirm that you have ovulated (due to a temp spike post ovulation) so I found this reassuring to know that my body was 'working' again. I hope that helps in some way x

NoCallerID · 14/03/2020 06:31

Thanks @Mangoandbroccoli, I really appreciate your kind words and the warm welcome. We used temping as TTA and TTC before and it worked perfectly for us. The toddler doesn't sleep well and I'm up between 1-3 times a night so I'm not sure if it would be reliable enough, I might give it a go. Also decided that it's probably for the best to stop bf now, as much as he'll fight it. My body needs a break before starting over again. Also ordered Agnus Castus which helped me get my cycles more regular before... x
