Judging by the Sid/Alan Hansen threads, it ain' t just me that gets twitchy gusset at, erm, interesting looking men on the goggle-box.

That hairy gobshite Nathan from Big Brother 11 is currently flavour of the month. He's so obnoxious and Neanderthal-like. -sigh-

So, tell me about your embarrassing crushes

OP posts:
Alouiseg · 28/06/2010 11:55

The saxophone player from Spandau Ballet. Possibly not too embarrassing 25 years ago.

Seems a bit daft now.

TenaciousMe · 28/06/2010 11:59

ha ha, you're still going on about Nathan! it must be serious!

AllarmBells · 28/06/2010 12:00

Have you seen Imagination Movers on Disney Playhouse? Four nice young men who live in, er, a warehouse. They are kind of like the Monkees for 2010, except older, and better musicians.

They are all gorgeous in slightly different ways. My order of preference is 1) Scott 2) Dave 3) Smitty and 4) Rich (he's actually the best looking but a bit alpha male for me)

The show has great music, demonstrates problem solving and teamwork, and it's very important that the whole family DD watches it every day

TenaciousMe · 28/06/2010 12:03

oh AlarmBells, yes Scott is a favourite here too! I do like a long haired man...

WitchyWooWoo · 28/06/2010 12:54

scott here too. oh dear -_-

WitchyWooWoo · 28/06/2010 12:58

our beloved scott

JenaiMarrHePlaysGuitar · 28/06/2010 13:03

We've done va va voom already, haven't we.

Lets think, errmmmm, Phil Oakey was on Top Gear last night but I refuse to be embarrassed about that particular crush. Because I lurrve him. And I actually had a dream about him recently.

I did have a huge thing for Rivers (schoolboy who had a fling with his teacher on Heartbreak High) though. Now that is . Both the crush and the watching of said Aussie kids TV series. I'm off to Google..

notnowbernard · 28/06/2010 13:05

have developed mega-lust for David James since the World Cup started

But IMO that is an entirely reasonable crush to have

HeywoodJablome · 28/06/2010 13:05

Larry Hagman.

heading4home · 28/06/2010 13:06

My obsession crush on the German football coach Joachim Loew has made the German win much more bearable

nettie · 28/06/2010 13:07

Barry Van Dyke

HeywoodJablome · 28/06/2010 13:10

nettie -

and again

Dick would have been bad....but Barry???

JenaiMarrHePlaysGuitar · 28/06/2010 13:11

Larry Hagman ?!?!?

I'm not going to mention my Tom Selleck dream. That is just too, too

Emo76 · 28/06/2010 13:11

Martin Shaw! And to be clear, as of these days, not with his bad 70s hair in "The Professionals".

Mumcentreplus · 28/06/2010 13:22

Kevin Prince Boteng...not because he not a stunner but because he's 23yrs old!!..

KittyTN · 28/06/2010 13:24

Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) - I am 33!
Martin Clunes
Boris Johnson

Are they inappropriate enough?!

PlasticCenturion · 28/06/2010 13:25

Rivers from Heartbreak High was in Neighbours recently (might still be, only see bits of it when I'm at my parents').

I don't know who half of these people are.

David Mitchell? Is that reasonable? I love him in every conceivable way.

Iklboo · 28/06/2010 13:27

Alexander Armstrong
I also came over a bit unnecessary watching Hugh Dennis when we went to watch Mock the Week being recorded (double )

jenroy29 · 28/06/2010 13:28

James May, got very excited when I was stalking following him on twitter but it turned out to be an imposter.

Iklboo · 28/06/2010 13:28

David Mitchell looks like a Moomin

(I like Moomins but David Mitchell doesn't do it for me I'm afraid)

PlasticCenturion · 28/06/2010 13:33

Iklboo, that's my 2nd husband you're talking about. The otherwise lovely largeginandtonic says he looks like he has thyroid issues. We had words.

I see your Alexander Armstrong and raise you Ben Miller.

I like funny, erudite, educated men. Ben Miller and David Mitchell fit the bill perfectly. And I think they are both marvellous looking.

Hugh Dennis is lovely.

fishie · 28/06/2010 13:34

robert plant

Iklboo · 28/06/2010 13:36

Oh, I think Mr Mitchell is fine, just not for me (and therefore he's all yours [wink)

Oh yes. Messrs Armstrong & Miller (sigh). Rude thoughts abound!

DastardlyandSmugly · 28/06/2010 13:38

Spencer Kelly from Click. I think he's so cute.

lolapoppins · 28/06/2010 13:44

I saw Paul McCartney at IOW festival and almost fainted. I had to stop myself from screaming like a teenager. I've loved him for years.
