Judging by the Sid/Alan Hansen threads, it ain' t just me that gets twitchy gusset at, erm, interesting looking men on the goggle-box.

That hairy gobshite Nathan from Big Brother 11 is currently flavour of the month. He's so obnoxious and Neanderthal-like. -sigh-

So, tell me about your embarrassing crushes

ha ha headingforhome... I had a little fluttery moment for Joachim Loew too ....but I also used to think that the dad on the OC was cute too ...Sandy Cohen was the character name, not sure who the actor is. I think they look similar, no?
I was/am far too old to be watching the OC, demonstrated by secret crush on the dad character rather than any of the teens that the prog was aimed at.

More Robert Webb than David Mitchell
Agree re Hugh Dennis and Alexander Armstrong

Iklboo · 28/06/2010 13:59

I was considering applying to be a contestant on 'Pointless' (Alexander Armstrong quiz) but thought being in close proximity to the man would prompt me to answer 'wibble' to every questin or giggle & blush like a teenager and make a show of myself.

corlan · 28/06/2010 13:59

John McCririck

KittyTN · 28/06/2010 14:05

Also Chris Packham

Anniebee65 · 28/06/2010 14:08

Heath Ledger, loved him since A Knights Tale, so not just a dead guy crush.

Gutted when he died, totally and utterly gutted.

marzipananimal · 28/06/2010 14:19

I like barry van dyke too!! (he's Steve in diagnosis murder right?)

Also had/have a bit of a thing for Steve Cram. He's old enough to be my dad

cupcakesandbunting · 28/06/2010 14:23

Whoever said Armstrong and Miller - yes.

Rivers from Heartbreak High - yes.

I'm also partial to a bit of Julien Barrett (Howard Moon in the Mighty Boosh). It's definitely the voice. I like Noel Fielding though, too.

Google is very unforthcoming with information on BB's Nathan, though How the blinking flip am I supposed to cyber-stalk him now?

How nice to find fellow Scott fans!

Reasons Scott is gorgeous:

  1. lovely shiny hair
  2. team player, doesn't hog the limelight
  3. plays lots of instruments, I bet he's really handy round the house, and good at multitasking
  4. great sense of humour
  5. looks like a drug-free, anger-free, hooker-free good-dad version of Anthony Kiedis.

Larry Hagman...in the early Dallas days, I understand that!

cupcakesandbunting · 28/06/2010 14:25

Oh and Jemaine Clement and Brett Mackenzie, if anyone is a Flight of the Conchords fan.

Obviously I harbour some deep-seated desire for a threesome with a male comedy duo...

Well the most normal one for me (and the logest lasting) has to be Charlie Sheen fancied him for many years.

Also fancied Jayce from jayce and the wheeled warriors (cartoon).

Rudidolph from The Little Vampire series in the 80's (can't believe I remember that).

Strangely I also fancied Predator (I really want to see the new film because preds are cool).

30/30 from Brave Starr (cartoon).

AllarmBells · 28/06/2010 14:42

Cupcakes, I used to love Vic and Bob, and it would have to be both together

jenroy29 · 28/06/2010 14:43

Ryoko I fancied one of the Thundercats- the grey one

maresedotes · 28/06/2010 14:44

Karl Pilkington. Find him even more attractive as a cartoon.

nettie · 28/06/2010 14:46

Marzipananimal, glad I'm not the only one!

cupcakesandbunting · 28/06/2010 14:54

Bob, I could do, Vic, not sure. Although, he must have something because his wife is very hot.

So yes, I would take Vic too

Matthew Wright is my main bad crush, I just love him. I'm gutted this is the last week of TWS before the summer break.
John James from Big Brother. DD's Dad was a blonde pretty boy Australian and that didn't end well. Also I think he's a sulky, petulant little boy but I still would.

muggglewump · 28/06/2010 15:01

Jenroy29.
That's Panthro.
I have a Thndercats video that I bought for DD, y'know, sharing my childhood TV with her. She didn't get it at all.

Ryoko · 28/06/2010 15:06

jenroy29

Panthro was pretty cool, I preferred Jackalman .

I wanted Mum-Ra to win, felt sorry for him, there he was asleep for hundreds of years and then them cats come and disturb him.

pretty creepy the fact Lion-o is the same age as Wily-kit and wily-kat tho.

cupcakesandbunting · 28/06/2010 15:13

Muggglewump, I'm with you on John James. He needs the angst and petulance shagging out of him. I'd happily volunteer

I mentioned this on a thread last week...

My latest crush is..
Dappy from N-Dubz.

I am crap at fancying people!

WillbeanChariot · 28/06/2010 15:20

I love Chris Packham Kitty. And Simon King...

AAnd you have all revived happy memories of Heartbreak High, but I favoured Drazic

AllarmBells · 28/06/2010 15:21

Vic is an old cardigan-and-slippers man now, but in the Big Night Out days he was gorgeous (if you are into faux Elvis)

here

cupcakesandbunting · 28/06/2010 15:28

Alan Hansen looks like he buys all of his clothes from one of those booklets you find inside sunday newspapers. You know, trousers with elasticated waistbands and breathable nylon crotches? Shoes with added arch-support and odour-control panels? All in beige/stone/ecru? He looks like he wears those sorts of clothes, bless him.
