That he ate a meal before going to help a friend in need? I agree. That's not very supportive in a genuine crisis.

Or that he isn't answering the phone? Well, maybe he's switched it off, or he's busy trying to help his friend. Or perhaps he doesn't want you there because it is him and his friend and it is not appropriate for you to be there.

Oh, or do you think there is no friend in crisis and your husband has created the situation so he can go out and shag someone? Or something.
