Tonight got text from friend (male ) in midst of nervous breakdown.. Had dinner with kids them went to visit him ( I am travelling GP)

He lives nearby and suggested we meet.he has not called

So - the OP's husband got a text from a male friend who was having a nervous breakdown and he went to visit him - possibly after having dinner with the kids. Then the OP, who is a GP who travels to people's houses, possibly after having dinner with the kids - lack of pronouns and indeed sense, makes it hard to know which, planned on going to see him too, except she has not had a text message from them yet, so has not yet been 'invited'.

So, she is worried that the breakdown was a fabrication, and that the husband was actually going to see another woman. Someone is possibly dressed as Barbarossa.

We need to know! Did your phone die as you were posting this?

if you look at the posting time, it's the middle of the night when op posts. so then, is she concerned that dh is in danger or is not where he is supposed to be?

did he leave after dinner and has not been seen since, or had no contact.

Translation:

OP gets text from the friend who is having a breakdown because he had dinner with her kids who went to visit him.
She is a travelling Green Party member.
The friend lives near and the text asked her to meet him. But he has not called round. She thinks she may have missed him as he may have been wearing a dress like Barbara's.

And I have to say that is freaking me out. What if, now I think sleep-posting is possible, I start doing it ?
