Come hither all those who havent found their place on mumsnet, have scrapped in Aibu or crossed words in chat. The buddy bench shalt not judge.

The buddy bench will hand out wine and cakes, it will join you on your scoffathons getting pissed

All those who enter will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from me, fucker, hairy, gomummy, tired mum and far, far too many more to mention.

Welcome to the buddy bench, we look forward to meeting you all

Oh and don't forget, last one to leave polishes bench and locks up !

Fabulous

No I'm on! Morning Tiredmumno1 and ApocalypseCheese. Loving that it's a bank holiday this weekend.

escorchio · 28/05/2010 10:52

So happy the sun is always shining on the bench.

SouthDevonDelight · 28/05/2010 11:21

Hello bench-wenches, just back from GP and happy to know that huge range of recent blood tests show nothing obviously wrong, so why are shoulder/back muscles so tender and ache all the time? Have prescription for prednisolone and maybe B12 injections. Anyway, enough of my moaning!

Blue sky and sunshine near Leicester - but sooo chilly after last few warm days - but of course the Bank Holiday weekend is here, so bound to be cold and damp.

Feel the need for chocolate, so will raid the office kitchen cupboards for emergency rations and happy to share if I can find anything!

RooBear · 28/05/2010 11:26

budge up, morning all-bank holiday weekend is upon us!

gomummygo · 28/05/2010 13:05

Hello all! How is everyone doing today? And what are you all planning for the weekend?

Tiredmumno1 · 28/05/2010 14:25

I am hoping for a relaxing weekend, which actually sounds rather boring i am sure one of you have something more exciting to do

2blessed2bstressed · 28/05/2010 14:27

I'm going to stay in my pjs all day tomorrow and do tidying! That's quite sad, isn't it?

gomummygo · 28/05/2010 14:53

No actually, both sound wonderful

2blessed2bstressed · 28/05/2010 14:58

I spend a lot of time in my pjs, cos am lazy old heifer - part of the reason I picked my car was cos it's quite high so other mums at school gate can't tell I'm in them when I drop kids at school

gomummygo · 28/05/2010 15:37

at car purchase motivation 2blessed!

And at both of your relaxing weekend plans!

Tiredmumno1 · 28/05/2010 16:33

What you doin gomummy?

And cheesey i am nearly out of cathedral city you got anymore

gomummygo · 28/05/2010 16:54

Big milestone birthday for DH this weekend so prep work for that mostly. Then picking up afterwards, lol.

Haven't slept much in the heat wave, DS the same, so we're grateful that it has cooled off...but still a bit tired to be party planning, etc.

Tiredmumno1 · 28/05/2010 19:42

Blimey a police helicopter was flyin round telling us a nine year old girl has gone missing. they then flew off well quick. so hoping they found her. its so terrible

gomummygo · 28/05/2010 19:51

That is absolutely aweful tiredmum.

Tiredmumno1 · 28/05/2010 19:56

I know but its not helpful when they dont tell you if she has been found. if they come back, i will go and have a walk about. but all seems to be quiet at mo, so fingers crossed

gomummygo · 28/05/2010 19:59

Hopefully that's the reason that they took off so quickly and she has been found ok.

ApocalypseCheese · 28/05/2010 20:39

Evenin all. Hope the little girls safe tiredmum.

Hey cheesey, well i suppose no news is good news, so i can only assume it had a happy ending.

right whos round is it

2blessed2bstressed · 28/05/2010 21:05

Mine I think, skittles vodka anyone?

Tiredmumno1 · 28/05/2010 21:13

2blessed as long as it contains alcohol its all good

2blessed2bstressed · 28/05/2010 21:49

vodka that has had skittles soaked in it overnight (not the purple or green ones cos it makes it look like dishwater), and then sieve it to get rid of gungy half melted sweeties. Tastes tutti frutti lovely - only trouble is - you can forget it's neat vodka til it's too late

gomummygo · 28/05/2010 22:02

2blessed you are innovative!

And yes I'd love a glass please.

2blessed2bstressed · 28/05/2010 22:04

Cherry and brolly with that gomummy?

Tiredmumno1 · 28/05/2010 22:04

Lol piss heads
