it really annoys me when i see cute little babies wearing chav elastic hairbands, why oh why do people put them on there babies when they have no hair, it looks stupid!!!!!!!!! argggggggggggggggg.x

The people who put them on their babies obviously think they make them look really cute. The vast majority of people do not.

We bought a couple of outfits recently that came with matching hairbands. In the bin.

they do go nicely with baby hoop earrings tho...

My Dd used to wear a hairclip as a tiny baby, to be fair though she had a huge amount of hair (have uploaded a pic!)

Ds is 20 months and has long hair, he was mistaken for a girl 3 times today, Ok he was wearing a black hair clip (his fringe needs cutting ) but he still looks like a boy and was wearing boys clothes!

What a cute baby izzy. I had a full head of hair like that when I was a baby. Apparently people used to stop and stare in the street

Why do you care? If they feel better and happy putting a headband on their preemie baby then so be it. Each to their own and all.

No not bashing anyone just think they look ridiculous, just as triple boob looks ridiculous, or 3 rings on each and every finger looks ridiculous.

I like them. Better than loads of frills and bows everywhere!

Clearly I am in the minority here but I love headbands. They weren't really around as much when my older daughters were little but my youngest DD wore them all the time as a baby. I think they look cute, especially the ones with a flower on. We always got lots of lovely comments on her headbands and asking where we had got them from.It's deffo each to their own but imo YABU as they look cute

but they don't do anything!. And babies are cute in themselves. They don't need accessories (IMVHO)

Of course YANBU, you don't have to like them, but I think my (very bald) 4 month old DD looks very cute in hers
