see imo the frankie boyle thing is interesting. making jokes about how badly people with DS dress is really cheap, and i do think he's more clever than that. so it's smarts rather than taste that should have made him think twice about that one, imo, because it was beneath his intelligence.

and the mother, well, she did know the kind of thing she was buying when she got the tix, and it's kind of fascinating that she seems to allow that the other jokes he told were not offensive because they didn't offend her.
