I saw this on another thread (doesn't matter which) and didn't want to hijack it with my silly ramblings

but, I can't imagine being with a man who "doesn't drive" (disabilities notwithstanding)

just someone too lazy to learn, who would let their OH chauffeur them around

there is something very appealing (sexy) about a man who drives well

mind you, I have a thing about a well-shaped wrist on a man , and driving in short sleeves shows that off to perfection

am I showing my age here ?

Dear God. We are talking about men who choose not to drive and how for some of us this is a turn off because it seems lazy and a bit cowardly. Your husband LIKE ME and many others has no choice. He is not lazy, he is not leaving the driving up to everyone else and having a good laugh about it. He is bound by the law not to drive and by not doing so is saving lives.

It is Saturday night - if some of us fancy John Wayne types, and some fancy eoc - warriers then thank goodness or we'd all be after the same fellas.

And the eco warriors would be harder to catch I bet.

I get all swoony at the sight of a tanned, toned arm, decisively changing gear.

My first proper boyfriend drove a Capri and he used to drive along with his arm out the window....that was the sexiest thing in the world to an impressionable 16year old.

Choosing not to drive is not the same as choosing to let others chauffeur you around. Nothing more sexy to my mind than a man who is so fit that he doesn't think twice about walking miles to get places. And not my definition of lazy either.

my husband doesnt drive, neither do I. Main reason being we have lived together since we were 17 and always struggled for money. We have never had the money to pay for enough lessons ( although we have tried and run out of money!) even if we did we couldnt afford a car -admitting I am poor here.

I still think hes sexy as we have stuck together through bad times even though we got together young and tbh not having a car has meant we are fit and have very fit kids without even trying lol.

YABU, I know a VERY sexy man who can't drive. Like me, he has Dyspraxia and has so far been unable to learn how to drive (I had 9 lessons, nearly killed myself and several others and decided against). If anything it makes him sexier as he's the only other person with Dyspraxia I know, even though his is milder than mine he's the only person (apart from my Dad) who understands why I don't drive (people look at me like I'm stupid when I say I can't drive). Plus his not driving is good for the environment. Win win :D

I've gotten major heat on here before for admitting that, back when I was dating, a man who didn't drive was a turn off for me.
