...to think that a man who "doesn't drive" is not remotely sexy

I saw this on another thread (doesn't matter which) and didn't want to hijack it with my silly ramblings

but, I can't imagine being with a man who "doesn't drive" (disabilities notwithstanding)

just someone too lazy to learn, who would let their OH chauffeur them around

there is something very appealing (sexy) about a man who drives well

mind you, I have a thing about a well-shaped wrist on a man , and driving in short sleeves shows that off to perfection

am I showing my age here ?

AF, up until I had children I only had a motorbike. I then ditched the bike in favour of a cage car. Having a spare crash helmet in a woman-friendly size did come in handy sometimes

poshsinglemum · 31/01/2010 21:35

I'm a woman who dosn't drive -yet but I think I will feel more sexy and competant once I pass my bloody test.

AnyFucker · 31/01/2010 21:44

ah, now snorbs, practical man passes muster too

but what are your wrists like ?

The object of my lust looks vehry sexy when he is driving..(wrists and shoulders...mmmmmm) But I would far rather watch him walk from behind..

Oh I always miss the best threads

I would not be attracted to someone who couldn;t drive - partly becauae I would no want to go out on a date via the bus or on a bicycle, and partly because I wouldn't want to be the sucker who ferried them round anywhere. I think driving is a vital skill for everyone and I think people who can't drive (as opposed to those who choose not to for environmental or medical reasons) a bit odd.

However I would not be attracted to a petrol head man - it is up there with avid football fandom as a horrible male trait. Look at those 3 twats on Top Gear for examples of how unattractive petrolheadness can be. And their wall of 'hot' and 'sexy' cars. I would NOT want to sleep with someone whose convo of choice would be 'ooh that porchse packs 478psi of torque, that's one sexy beast' or whatev.

Next topic - men who drive automatic cars are unmanly...

MitsubishiWarrioress · 01/02/2010 09:12

I can't drive GetOrf.....

Couldnt agree more!
Especially if there is a nice watch hanging on that wrist, and if the wrist was nicely oudoorsy tanned. ommm nom nom!

blinks · 01/02/2010 09:32

Robert Pattinson doesn't drive.

just thought i'd mention it.

letsblowthistacostand · 01/02/2010 09:37

I would rather be with a man who doesn't drive than a man who pees sitting down. Have been with both and the sit-to-pee-er was definitely the bigger wanker.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 01/02/2010 09:38

Who's he blinks?

ButterPie · 01/02/2010 09:38

Sorry, I would be turned OFF by a man driving. It's just so...responsible, grown up and boring. Either that or they are a boy racer which is an obvious sign of being a knob. Obviously it is useful and practical sometimes, but really not a sexy trait.

But then, on a quick head count, I think I know very very few driving men anyway.

As for men who can cook....mmmmmmm!

AnyFucker · 01/02/2010 09:49

robert pattinson is a skinny, pale youth

'nuff said

Of course Robert P can't drive. He is only about 12.

Ooh - peeing sitting down. Now DP sits down when he pees, I think it's great (no piss everywhere for one). Don't think it is unmanly

blinks · 01/02/2010 09:57

24 is hardly a youth.

and i don't fancy him but squillions of females do.

having lived in a city for almost 30 years, my husband is only now learning. i never held it against him. if i did i'd be guilty of being petty and shallow.

AnyFucker · 01/02/2010 10:02

pallid, dreamy, floppy-haired, effeminate yoof

age don't matter

Riven i think he`s the guy who played Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter films and is now the lead guy in Twilight . We saw him in Edinburgh 2 years ago walking along the street

AnyFucker · 01/02/2010 10:50

the floppy vampire, Riven, in Twilight

pale, spotty yoof with a very narrow chest

OP posts:
MitsubishiWarrioress · 01/02/2010 10:58

Oh. a yoof.....

Nah...give me a MAN any day..That 'knowing' look in their eye ....

Shodan · 01/02/2010 11:08

GetOrf- my DH sits to pee too.

Definitely sexier, knowing I haven't got Man Pee around the loo.......

AnyFucker · 01/02/2010 13:45

they must still have to "point" though when they pee sitting down ?

or else it will still go on the seat, or at least underneath the front bit of it

why do some blokes sit to pee ? I have never known any male to do that under the age of 4

never thought about it before, certainly wouldn't turn me off though...just why ?
