to think there's a case for complying with a DH's sexual fantasy, even if you're NOT really up for it?

Had lunch with some friends today, and this was the discussion.

20 years ago, I would have said NO WAY - sex should be totally mutual, pleasurable to both etc...

However, now I'm not so sure. My mate's H has hinted he would like to try X. My mate is OMG - NO!

However, she says she is still thinking about it... DH has been her love for 10 years. He has supported her. Never minded having virtually no sex for 2 years after a difficult birth and PND. Told her she was gorgeous and supported her fully every day....

So she is pondering whether he "deserves" X for super good behaviour - and because (we know he is the most faithful H ever) he is not going to get it ever, less she relents!

So I started off saying NO WAY - but as she spoke perhaps think her position isn't that unreasonable... But I am huge and hormonal... so what do I know!

WashwithCare · 23/01/2010 21:10

No.

I dunno about you, Jodie, but I certainly wouldn't want to eat a heavy dinner before indulging a person in such an activity, especially if the dessert contained blueberries!

Actually "friends and family" incurs quite a significant surcharge per person.

bearcrumble · 23/01/2010 21:13

The guy sounds lovely actually, and there's nothing wrong with ASKING.

I don't know about the bumsex, if she isn't keen then she's not going to enjoy it but they could do all the other stuff and compromise on doing it doggy style? If it's her first time and there's this massive build-up (ahem) she'll be really tense and won't enjoy it.

Pink wee can be achieved by eating beetroot (£60 and 2 days notice)

expatinscotland · 23/01/2010 21:14

Don't forget Dan Savage's famous 'santorum', an excellent topic of discussion.

JodieO · 23/01/2010 21:15

Lol expat, too true

expatinscotland · 23/01/2010 21:16

Brown shit can be achieved for far cheaper than pink wee, Lazy.

Less effort, too.

LazyJourno · 23/01/2010 21:17

On no, brown shit is very, very expensive in this house (£8,500)

LadyBiscuit · 23/01/2010 21:18

How is describing a complete scenario 'hinting' exactly? Well if she doesn't try it she's not going to know if she likes it or not is she?

Isn't bumsex friday night's topic anyway?

expatinscotland · 23/01/2010 21:21

Yeah, but beetroot tastes horrible.

Sings the ol' Biker Jo song . . .
'Do you ride that hershey highway?
We've already done it your way
Now let's do it my way.
If it's your first time
it'll be a tight squeeze.
Just put your face in the pillow
get up on your knees.
We gonna ride that Hershey Highway, baby tonight!'

WashwithCare · 23/01/2010 21:22

Pink Wee...

have previously been shocked to discover how many sub-categories of porn there are... hot and read to drop, drunk teenage girls, drugged women - hard to believe that sufficient men are turned on by it to generate a market!

But to be fair to friend's DH, he has not asked to actually do this. She says she started teh discussion about sexual fantasies and he eventually volunteered this...

I know you don't "deserve" a reward for bieng a good DH, and certainly not a sexual one - but an incy winsy bit of me can see her point... He was totally there for her, and she is receptive to reciprocating...

Anyway - wouldn't posters be equally horrified if x was a dinner date, plus a big strap on for her and an arse pounding for him?

'hard to believe that sufficient men are turned on by it to generate a market!'

Who says they're all men?

'Anyway - wouldn't posters be equally horrified if x was a dinner date, plus a big strap on for her and an arse pounding for him?'

NO way! Especially not on a Saturday night.

Friday night could be bumsex night (SO vanilla) and Saturday night could be pegging night.

hf128219 · 23/01/2010 21:24

I just can't see how one up the bum (no harm done) is a fantasy.

Has everyone lost their imagination these days?

Yes beetroot is horrible hence the premium but I am less inclined to actually apply the pink wee.

Application of pink wee £2000

LadyBiscuit · 23/01/2010 21:29

If she doesn't like it, she tells him to stop. I doubt she's going to need therapy to get over it

Or try pegging, LadyB!
