I hate talk radio, I only like music with the odd witticism thrown in. In the house I listen to Capital Gold through the telly

I like Moyles too, brightens up an early start to the day, we all enjoy him in this house!
Now Wogan makes me want to smash up the speakers...which is unfortunate as my drs surgery have him on in the waiting room

i really like Chris Moyles and i am over 30! don't know really why he is a misogynist?? for all the years I have listened I haven't found that, more that he just takes the piss generally out of men and women. Plus he is not slow to criticise his own body image, or the fact that until recently he was overweight. sometimes he goes a bit far, but most of the time he is funny. and whilst we are on the subject, thank god that bloody jo 'i am too cool for school' Whiley has gone....
really like radcliffe and maconie too, but only get chance to listen if driving back from work late.

Radio 6 is without a shadow of a doubt the best thing out there. It's hosted by DJs who actually love music and know their stuff(well most of them anyway).

However, I would give Freakzone a wide berth on a Sunday, but Guy Garvey has an excellent show later on in the evening.

Vernon Kaye anyone? In fact, Radio One at the weekend has (up till now) been quite listenable-to (made up word emoticon) - quite like Nihal and also Sara Cox on a Sunday. Not sure what's happening at the weekend now, think Jo Whiley's doing the Nihal spot, and is Edith Bowman going to the weekend too?

Moyles is a twat on the radio, definitely believes his own hype. Although I liked him on that Kilimanjaro thing.

The worst of all is, without doubt, Steve Wright. I feel like I've been listening to him prattle on in the afternoon my whole bloody life.

Also, everyone at Radio 2 hates him.

I used to love Mark & Lard on Radio 1,i nearly wet myself laughing a couple of time.

I like Ken Bruce but cant stand the traffic woman who tries to take over,Lynne is it?

I really cant stand Steve Wright,he must mention his son about every 5 mins & i just dont get that old woman on it [confused emoticon]

I love Terry Wogan,especially the grand fireworks display he lays on every yr for us.

Don't mind Chris Evans these days. He's definitely improved with age.

My fave radio show is Fighting Talk on Five Live. Both Gabby Logan and Colin (Irish guy can't remember his last name) have been great hosts.

Also love Danny Wallace on XFM. He's really funny and likeable.

I'm with you Grisette. Love Shaun Keeveny on 6 music breakfast but I sometimes forget to turn to a different channel when that complete and untter knob, George Lamb comes on at 10. Maybe I'm just getting old.

I really enjoy Chris Moyles easy too listen to nothing taxing first thing in the morning for me.

Steve Wright drove me bonkers back when he was on radio 1 dont listen to him on radio 2 either.

I really miss Russel Brand we used to download the podcast and listen to it in the car.

Chris Moyles annoys me but "comedy" Dave with his whiny sycophancy winds me up more than the rest of the team combined!

I quite like Adam and Joe. I hate Sara Cox with a passion but don't mind Zoe Ball

I would like Zoe Ball much better if she didn't go 'hiiich' (breathe in between her teeth) all the effing time.

I do like 5 live during the day - it makes me feel like I've had adult company and it keeps me on top of the news, travel and weather which is a boon.

I really don't like Chris Moyles. The big ego and the laddish behaviour is awful. He talks over and belittles the other members of his team all the time.

I love Scott Mills too. I have a massive crush on him and was devastated when I found out he was gay. But because I listen to Scott on the way back from work, quite often Chris greets me when I get into the car in the morning.

Grr.

YANBU. He is such an unappealing individual both physically & in terms of personality that were he not famous he would have zero chance of ever getting laid.

As for the audience figs, I suspect most people just listen to Radio 1 out of habit (and would still be listening even if a wild bear was presenting) & the others are people like me who have crappy clock/radios that only seem to be able to receive Radio 1, hence I am compelled to listen in the mornings albeit against my will
