GGGRRRHH.

Following my miscarriage 2 weeks ago. granted I'm a little raw...

But god it annoys me when I quit smoking before I even starting TTC, I didn't drink a drop, took my folic acid and followed the do's and don'ts of foods to the T.
And still MC'ed
And I see pregnant ladies walking around smoking or drinking in pubs..........

ITS SO UNJUST!!!!!!!

YANBU. At all. I'm very sorry for your loss and think it's totally selfish for a pregnant woman to smoke, they have a choice, the baby doesn't. Simple as that.

Before anyone says it's not that easy, I know, I'd love a drink and smoke, but I'm pregnant and put the health of my child first.

beanies You must've missed one of my previous posts. It is a "dangerous" way of thinking because whilst nobody in their right minds is going to say that smoking is good for the baby, we cannot start telling (by law!) women what to do with their own bodies. If we do that we end up on a slippery slope to outlawing abortion for example. Wrongly or rightly, we as women have control over what happens to our bodies and I do not wish to relinquish my body to a court of law.
