How old were you when you lost your virginity?

I got the idea from NetMums of all places. I blame this thread and BigBellasBeerBelly.

21, wedding night.

18 and a half.

About 2 weeks after starting uni....in my halls of residence (shared) bedroom

My first proper boyfriend. He was a gorgeous posh londoner (a novelty in Belfast!) with a massive willy and I was madly in love

It came to light not too much later that he was bi-polar. My mum and I did a midnight 70 mile drive to fetch him after a suicide attempt and brought him home to ours. A few days later he flew back to London and that was that.

It broke my heart

I saw him on a bus a few years ago when I was back in Belfast for a an interview but just froze and didn't approach him.

17, 2 weeks before I turned 18, BF at the time had his 18th day before me so it was always going to be a full on fortnight. Was crap, really forgettable, ho hum

Dh was 27. With me. I'm glad I didn't wait though (had too much fun) and he is glad he did LOL

15, with my gorgeous but fuckwit-ish first 'love'. I don't remember much about it at all, strangely, but we went out for 18 months and I remember lots of other times . He was very sexy.

Was trying to catch up with my younger friend who'd lost it a few weeks before her 14th birthday.

Thank god he changed schools shortly after. I might have died in a puddle of shame if I'd had to look at him every day for the next 2.5 years.

16 with BF of a few months, think it was his first time too, not that he admitted it when I asked him.

That tells you how crap it was. Did it again just to see if it was still as crap ...

and yes, it was.

Then dumped him, went out with very hot gorgeous boy in sixth form and learnt the right way to do it for a few years

However, none of it prepared me for DH who is amazing, mind blowingly good at it now. We learnt together very fast. Sixth form boy pales into insignificance

shame it wasn't as fantastic as everyone made it out to be. but i soon got the hang of it and has since greatly improved

i was first of friends. who all pretended to have done it already. then openly admitted they all had been lying and quizzed me non stop about it.

21 with my then-bf who was on the cusp of turning 19 . The day after he told me he was off to Oz for a year in a few weeks time and did I want to go with him?

The answer was no from me so we split up.

In the scout hut on a sunny afternoon.

With a boy called Mark. We'd been boyfriend and girlfriend when we were 5 (used to hold hands at the Sunday School party). Then we met up again when we were 15.

14 and in a garage with the ugliest bloke you have ever seen. shudder, I saw him years later when I was out with one of my manay gorgeous blokes and he tried to talk to me and I was begging in my head for said dishy bloke not to ask who the freaky ugly bloke was.

my 16th birthday. In BFs bedroom with his parents watching TV in the living room.

complete none-event.

Went to visit his brother later in the evening, and he was mid-sheg on the front room rug (in his own house, not with his parents watching TV BTW) with his GF. They were obviously much better at it

pretty much, only he had one of those teenage wispy moustaches I think I may be sick, whatever I tell my dd's when they are older it will be dont give it up unless he is gorgeous. I had confidence issues.
