I got the idea from NetMums of all places. I blame this thread and BigBellasBeerBelly.

I'll start. I was 16 1/2.

Nancy and Margot - I can't separate the two experiences.

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/04/2009 15:00

18 in front seat of a yellow metro

MumtoCharlieandLola · 16/04/2009 15:14

a week before my 17th birthday (23 years ago this weekend then ) in a car park in newcastle in the back of an Escort XR3(i).

It was awful, the bloke was 38 and should have known better, I was v. naive (sp)

I know this sounds really soppy but I wish I had kept up until I met my husband but then I was 29 when I met him and perhaps wouldn't have swanned off to a hotel with him the night I met him if I was a virgin - LOL

Lizzylou · 16/04/2009 15:16

16 with my first love (we were together for 2 years after that).
On the sofa in my Mom's living room.

We were both 24, both virgins and married with 2 kids now. That's pretty old.

I was 14, he was 28 and a convicted con with a small daughter and a wife at home (not that I knew at the time). Gorgeous (pre-Mohican Travis Bickle lookalike) but very screwed up. Back seat of his Fiesta in a car park. I was so tragically cynical even at that tender age that I psyched myself up for a nonchalant rejection afterwards, but he told me he was in love with me. Which terrified me all the more.

I walked home with my knickers on back to front and stubble rash all over my neck and chest. When his wife found out, all hell broke loose and she physicaly attacked me. The bloke himself followed me about and emotionally blackmailed me for weeks, months afterward. Maintained to all and sundry that our fling hadn't been morally wrong etc etc - that I wasn't an innocent baby, old enough to know my own mind and other such justifications. I was, admittedly, very precocious.

Then one day he passed me in the street. Was arm-in-arm with my dad, cheerfully eating an ice cream, clutching my Geography folder and wearing my school uniform. He had his little daughter with him, she'd have been about 7 at the time. He stared across the street at me and then at her, went white, looked as though he'd seen a ghost and turned away on the point of tears. It's taken my years to appreciate the significance of that moment - at the time I was just relieved to be shot of him (my mother sussed that I'd lost my V plates but I told my parents a comparatively charming story of a fumble at a pal's house with a fellow 14-year-old from the local independent boys' school).

  1. Other person was 17. In his bed at his parents house. We'd been together for about a month or so.

Was distinctly average. No drama, no fireworks, no bleeding, no tears.

Dull

leonifay · 16/04/2009 16:23

leonifay · 16/04/2009 16:24
