signs plastered at the back of a car, is Chavy Chav Chav?

OP posts:
poopscoop · 11/02/2009 17:14

agreed

also 'babe' on board - hideous

Flightattendant12 · 11/02/2009 17:17

Yes but what I don't get is why people object to the usual 'child on board' type signs.

I often feel hounded by some git behind me and think if I had a sign like that they might leave me alone.

fattiemumma · 11/02/2009 17:19

they aren't great but far less awful than

"babe on board" or even worse "bitch on board"

VinegarTits · 11/02/2009 17:27

I couldnt give a fuck

why do you care so much?

Pisses me off the way the 'chav' word is thrashed about just because someone doesnt like somebody elses taste

Get a life

Flightattendant12 · 11/02/2009 17:30

VT you might retain the moral high ground if you weren't so appallingly rude.

VinegarTits · 11/02/2009 17:36

Im not out to retain the moral high ground, just giving my opinion

I dont know why the 'chav' word has to be used to descibe someone who has a 'little princess' sign in their car, ok so you dont like it, then just say you think they are tacky, but everything these days is put dont to you being a chav, its getting stoopid now

SoupDragon · 11/02/2009 17:37

I think it's code for "spoilt little brat on board".

Flightattendant12 · 11/02/2009 17:39

Why is tacky better than chav? It's not my OP btw...I just hate reading posts full of swearing and nasty comments. OP wasn't attacking anyone personally, I feel your response was uncalled for.

Lizzylou · 11/02/2009 17:40

I think that they are annoying, these signs.

I was going to drive into the back of you, but now I see you have a Little Princess/Prince/Grandchild/Yorkshire Terrier on board so I will stick to the Highway code and keep a respectful distance

MissSnotBag · 11/02/2009 17:40

It's not something I care about VT, merely an observation [two fingers chucked your way}

OP posts:
VinegarTits · 11/02/2009 17:41

sniff my miff

cluelessnchaos · 11/02/2009 17:41

I dont think they are chavvy but I do think "I bet she is a right little madam"

SoupDragon · 11/02/2009 17:41
Flightattendant12 · 11/02/2009 17:42

VT are you always like this?

FfreckleFface · 11/02/2009 17:42

Child on board signs in general crack me up. When I am behind someone with one, I think, 'Well thank God you told me, because otherwise I was going to smash into the back of you!'

And VT, I agree with you about the unnecessary throwing about of the C word. Daily Mailesque snobbery as far as I am concerned.

VinegarTits · 11/02/2009 17:42

I said i didnt give a fuck, that was my opinion, ffs im not the only one who uses fuck on MN, get off your high horse flight

poopscoop · 11/02/2009 17:43

SoupDragon · 11/02/2009 17:43
MissSnotBag · 11/02/2009 17:44

If it makes you feel better VT, I am half chavy and half Miss SnotBag. A bit of both.

OP posts:
Lizzylou · 11/02/2009 17:44

Phew, Poop was just wondering "But how would they help?"

SoupDragon · 11/02/2009 17:44

hugs poopscoop

poopscoop · 11/02/2009 17:44

the s were not at you flight.

VinegarTits · 11/02/2009 17:45

I dont have a DD, its a 'little prince onboard'

I dont like the way chav is banded about, and i agree with freckle about it being DM snobbery

And i'm not going to be talked down to for using 'fuck' on MN
