signs plastered at the back of a car, is Chavy Chav Chav?

I dont like the princess or even prince ones as dont like all that 'princess' stuff. Even tho I dont have girls I'm sure I wouldn't of gomne down that route

I fdid have a baby on board duck in a sling on the side window but DS tends to pull it off. I sorta hoped it might say....Please dont park 6" away from my door so I cant get my child back in but doesnt seem to work

Each to their own, I don't have them simply because they don't serve any purpose. A tosspot on the road is not going to moderate his tosspot driving just because we have children on board.

I saw a 'baby on board' slogan on a T-shirt stretched tight over a pregnant belly. Did not think much of that either.

They are pointless, and making an announcement that is of no interest to anyone but the parents.

I want one that says I don't give a shit who you have on board.

I do not have one of these signs, never have.
If I think from the emergency services point, well I think they would assess the situation and prioritise with who needs help most urgently though still with the aim to rescue all passengers. All life is valid no matter ones age.

Also many cars I see with them often don't have the kids in the back, so is meaningless.

Finally I have seen a 'mum to be' sign.. don't think I could have one of those, for me that would be tempting fate or something.

These signs do vaguely annoy me, as they have always made me think people thought that it made any difference to how other people would drive - I wanted one that says "People on board. Please try not to kill us".

But thanks to this thread, I see that for people who like them, it's just because they're happy to be parents, which is fair enough. So I learnt something today. And will try to stop looking down on people who have them.

I agree that chav is overused.

I also agree that 'little princess...' is horrible.
