Actually, I met someone (two years ago) who tried to become a playboy bunny (the photographed ones) but only got into the club/waitress gig. She met Hugh (long ago when he was still somewhat handsome and not as influential as he is now).
You go through a lot of screening, there are contracts and no one is forced into doing anything they don't want to. The money is great and the parties (not all get invited to those parties either) have a lot of influential people on the guestlists. She wanted to meet Paul McCartney and this paid for her flat and clothes and everything. No she was not sleeping with Hugh...he only sleeps with a choice number of people. Apparently, the trade offs are enough to want to sleep with him.
I posted back that one of the 3 Girls Next Door is leaving because he won't marry her.
You can call it whatever you wish. They know what they are doing and they have to apply for any kind of position (again no pun intended) or they never get in the door in the first place.

maybe you should read posts properly before you comment. I never said I wanted to be one. I said they it looked like fun on the program - was like a big sleepover/hen party. Hef is barely featured in the program. The girls looked like they really enjoyed living there and maybe its the magic of tv or maybe they really do, who knows?

well, i've met plenty of women who are downright thick who wouldn't find that 'fun' at all.

You will have all sorts of unacceptable behavior on the television. There isn't really anything you can do short of preaching to them. They probably have heard it all before. They have made the choice.
