What is all this talk about anal? Do they show/mention that on the programme (that I have never seen)?

hunkermunker · 09/11/2008 21:57

Yes, they often show anal sex on mainstream TV these days.

Where have you beeeeeen?

onebatmother · 09/11/2008 21:57

what you need, oops, is more prestige. It's not too late, though, as long as you don't mind going under the knife and sucking off prestigious old men till they fall asleep.

Blandmum · 09/11/2008 21:59

a lifestyle that we can all aspire to.

or arsepire to, I suppose

Yeah, I'm self employed, I earn £80,000 per annum. Drive a flashy car and guess what did it all on my own. No help from any man. And guess what, I didn't shift any spunk either.
Boasting, tacky isn't it? IMO the boasting comes from the insecure.

"they all seemed really happy to be there"

did they? Did they really? Bloody hell, I've got it all wrong then. I'm sure if they felt unhappy with any part of their existence they would have, like, totally opened up to the cameras.

Also, and at the risk of sounding like a broken bleeding record, can I point out that this scenario is even less likely, because of the element of competition which is central to the set-up

(however hidden this competition might be - Hefner's cute 'rules' mean they all have to pretend to adore each other)

The powerful always try to ensure that the disempowered are self-policing - it's far more economical. The most effectdive way of doing this is to make sure that they know that they cannot trust each other, because of the competition that exists between them.

tiredsville · 09/11/2008 22:38

I don't like this notion that all prostitutes know what they are getting into, are greedy materialistic whores who are all for themselves.
Many have been abused as children, ended up in care, then drugs and finally prostitution. I knew a mother who ended up getting into prostitution after becoming hooked on drugs, she eventually commited suicide. Didn't really want to post this information on the thread, but just felt it necessary. As women, we should give help and try to understand why someone has gone down that route. Not put them down. All the same, there is nothing glamorous about prostitution, end of story.

I think we have to accept prostitution is always going to exist, but we don't have to agree with it. Also, we have to let it enter the mainstream culture by showing the seedy side of what goes on. Regarding Hefners mansion, as a viewer, I wanted to know what the fuck was going on in this famous house, weather the rumours were true. It did look like a sleep over, they certainly did show the sunny side. Thought the OP was joking when she said it looked nice, hence me joining in conversation.

Im a bit to well travelled to be 'horrified' at his pimpfest. Sad, Annoyed? Yes I am. And yes, I found your amusement about spunk, anal sucking off s bit depresssing. No note about whats going on in the girls head, so yeah judgemental and bitter.
Really knackered now, going to bed. Night all.

I thought Playboy as awful when I was in my late teens and early twenties, and that is quite some time ago.

What depresses me is some of the teenagers I teach think Playboy is so cool. I am sick of seeing the image on homeworks, folders etc....

But I have to know, how exactly do you piss in your own mouth? My grasp of human anatonmy is pretty basic, but even I know that are at opposite ends of your body...

Blandmum · 10/11/2008 20:28

I think she must be very Bendy.

I also despair at teenagers thinking that playboy stuff is 'cool'

and I was also anti from way before the age of 20.

This is all very cynical marketing driven to make young women think that this sort of stuff is acceptable and a valid way to spend your life. Instead of being a waste of time and ability

noonki · 10/11/2008 20:48

His mansion sums up the celeb hellhole lifestyle half our children are 'aspiring' to.

My idea of Hell would be to spend a day with women who choose to shag an 80 year old to become 'famous'.
