to think that Kerry Katona sounded either drunk/drugged or as though she'd had a stroke on tv this morning

........ was anyone else watching this?

I was amazed when Phillip Scofield asked her if there was somethng wrong with her as she was slurring her words. I was imagining what his producer was screeching down his ear piece and feeling sorry for him being put on the spot like that. And actually felt sorry for KK too - a bit.

It was riviting tv.....

mayorquimby · 22/10/2008 13:49

she looked absolutely smashed.

mayorquimby · 22/10/2008 13:51

"It was the shams and i don't think she should be on tv at all.

For anyone who has not seen it there is a video of it on here
"

am i the only one who sees the irony in this post?

pingping · 22/10/2008 13:51

I have Bi polar and I am on medication but my Jaw don't do that???

tonysoprano · 22/10/2008 13:51

OMG she is totally out of it!! She is going to regret that last line!!

ScoobyDoo · 22/10/2008 13:53

mayorquimby - Go away, i was reading another thread about it & people were asking to see it, so why not show it, it's all over the internet & it was on tv so whats your problem?

ScoobyDoo · 22/10/2008 13:57

It's should not have been on tv but you know what it was & guess what millions have seen it so my one link on mumsnet is not going to make much difference !

Flier · 22/10/2008 13:58

I had a look online and her speech was slurred at the short video they showed you of her getting "penned up" for her boob job, which surely suggests that it is the medication rather than any illegal drugs?

pingping · 22/10/2008 13:59

The woman has issues and she is on Drugs she has sold many stories about it herself for those who read Closer I am sure she sold her story to them stating my Drug hell. Also I am sure that her Ex husband was trying to get custordy of the children due to Kerry's Drug abuse

I used to feel sorry for this woman but more and more it seems like she is bringing it on herself all she does is blame everyone else for her downfalls maybe if she faces the fact that alot of it is down to her and no one else she may be able to recover and get the help she needs.

zippitippitoes · 22/10/2008 14:02

well she probably isnt doing herself any favours making tv prtogrammes

self medication with alcohol etc is not at all unusual with bipolar

she was slurred on the boob bit too

she clearly has lots of problems but that is pretty much an accepted fact

zippitippitoes · 22/10/2008 14:03

i thought you meant with this thread that she had just been on tv

expatinscotland · 22/10/2008 14:04

I saw that this morning and thought she was deffo hopped up on something.

Sounded drunk, IMO. But then again, I used to drink too much.

RideEmCowboy · 22/10/2008 14:05

But expat I'm guessing you didn't go on daytime tv when you'd had too much to drink...

mayorquimby · 22/10/2008 14:06

easy tiger.i was just having a joke.no need to bite my head off.i just found it funny that you were saying she shouldn't be on tv in that state but then in your next sentence you were showing her to people.

ScoobyDoo · 22/10/2008 14:07

Ha ha really funny!

Read what i ahve written, as i said millions have seen it already is there really much difference, what i was saying is she should not have gone on tv in that state but it's to late now because she done it & it's there for everyone to see.

The link makes no difference people can find it all over the net!

no way was that side effects of medication!!!
that was unbelievable.

good on phill and fern for questioning her behaviour.
i cant stand her anyway, shes repulsive if you ask me.
'do anything for money' is obviously her motto. and as for her husband, well hes just gross.
wait for her feeble reply in ok magazine.

she should be very very ashamed.

expatinscotland · 22/10/2008 14:10

No, Ride'em. It was in the US and there's no real welfare system there so I had to spend all day at work. Not many opportunities to go on daytime TV.

matildax · 22/10/2008 14:11

i disagree hatrick, i think her answers were all over the place.
if she had a speech problem, she would have addressed this, instead she questioned why they were asking her.

if it was because of the meds, she would have been used to people asking that. and in interviews would make that point very loudly and clearly.

It just made me feel sorry for her, what a state, whichever reason there is for it.

Aitch · 22/10/2008 14:15

lithium. poor kid.

expatinscotland · 22/10/2008 14:16

'Nope a drunk person repeats themselves, their answers rarely answer the question and they sidetrack. Whatever she was on it wasn't alcohol.'

Not when they've either had to or learned to be a high-functioning one.

I don't know what she was on, mediction or alcohol, but it was something.

mayorquimby · 22/10/2008 14:16

"Her answers although slurred were far too good to have been the answers of a drunk person"

you reckon? constant repeated slurring of "i'm on holiday, allowed to have a drink aren't i?" followed by the absolute confusion and hostility when the man tried to ask her if she was replacing one addiction with another i.e. drink because of how much it was referenced in some mag interview she'd done.seemed like a typical drunk to me.
