this woman, i am supposed to work with has barly been there in 6 years!

don't you think it's a bit out of order from the same employer to have to cover all that for 1 person?

FabioHungoverNoShoutingPlease · 21/09/2008 22:17

are we all taking bodybag seriously?

Time was you could have fun with the trolls.

Pah.

Janos · 21/09/2008 22:17

Does no-one else think this is made up? You couldn't get an OP that panders to peoples prejudices and pushes all the buttons about women taking ML more if you tried.

Janos · 21/09/2008 22:18

Why oh why don't trolls learn to spell and punctuate properly?

WilfSell · 21/09/2008 22:18

EC, I cannot see a single place where you and I agree, except for the bit where you misunderstood what I was arguing, thinking I was agreeing with you that your uncle would lose his female employees for being pregnant whereas I was suggesting he could just as easily lose them were he unable to provide proper maternity leave.

But I think you can't really express yourself too well can you?

LackaDAISYcal · 21/09/2008 22:20

yawn

had enough of this now.

you're right, the woman is a leech and a drain not only on your employer and her co-workers, but on society itself. She should be signing on benefits instead of having some worth ethic and leaving the job open for someone who shares your fantastic work ethic

happy now?

bodybag · 21/09/2008 22:23

thing is aswell she takes up so much space you can hardly get past her shes a bit girl when she is not pg, which is not v often.

OP posts:
bodybag · 21/09/2008 22:24

shes all slow and blocking the way.

OP posts:
MrsMattie · 21/09/2008 22:24

OK. Back under your bridge now!

And may i be the first to wish you an unexpected multiple pregnancy some time soon!

LyraSilvertongue · 21/09/2008 22:24

Now you're just stirring it up, bodybag.

Janos · 21/09/2008 22:25

Anyone still believe OP is genuine?

Snaf · 21/09/2008 22:25

Well surely that's not going to bother you overmuch if she's never there?

Jog on, troll, there's a love

Quattrocento · 21/09/2008 22:27

We really really need a troll section on MN. Some of the very best threads have been by trolls. Does anyone remember Rosemary Woodhouse? She was fab. Also the good one about sex tips - hang on, I must find it.

bloomingfedup · 21/09/2008 22:29

OP stop talking crap. I am PG and felt very sick but have not been sick. have you got kids?

Quattrocento · 21/09/2008 22:30

I give you the immortal sexual technics thread

Janos · 21/09/2008 22:31

Hmm, similar writing style on the technics thread.

AH HA!

MrsMattie · 21/09/2008 22:32

My DH thinks I am a nutter. I am howling out loud at the OP on your linked thread@Quattro. How did I miss that one? The best OP I have read in a long time.

ethanchristopher · 21/09/2008 22:36

wilfsell

are you really that blind? im agreeing with you in that i think that the op is unreasonable to think that the woman shouldnt be disallowed her maternity leave

and no obviously you have misunderstood me too

and are you really that excited that you are trying to win against a 15 year old girl? i dont think you can express yourself much either

you are coming across as very pushy and closedminded

are you even willing to look objectively at the situation even if you dont want to change your mind?

WilfSell · 21/09/2008 22:47

15? Bless. No, you're right. I'll let you win then.

APatchOverMeEyeballsintheSky · 21/09/2008 22:49

I'm on mat leave at the moment and very keen to have another baby next year before my elderly innards peg out. I was already feeling a bit guilty about the possibility of going back to work then off again within the year. Luckily my colleagues are lovely but is this what women really think of each other? Will I be called all the names under the sun behind my back for daring to have two children? Glad I don't work with you Bodybag

ethanchristopher · 21/09/2008 22:51

15? bless??????????

i bet at 15 you didnt have half the life experience i have at 15

theres nothing to win here. we actually have the same opinion im just not anti-men/a suffragete

whos being the childish one here?

bodybag · 21/09/2008 22:51

maybe you do patch

OP posts:
MrsMattie · 21/09/2008 22:52

A suffragette? What an insult!

ethanchristopher · 21/09/2008 22:55

i wasnt insulting her. as far as im concerned i thought this was a place where everyone could have an opinion and there could be some light hearted debate e.t.c

i didnt expect to be called "stupid" for having an opinion

and her comment about my uncle showed her to be anti-men, she sounds like shes campaigning for womens rights, although we already have them

WilfSell · 21/09/2008 22:58

OK. Not stupid. A bit thick though.
