Shocked that no one helped the girl on the train

14 year old SA in trained

I am being unreasonable in think people need to stop being so absorbed on their phones whilst out in public. It seems no one helpped this child whilst she was being raped because they were too busy on their phones.

Autistic girl, 14, 'sexually assaulted on train by Afghan migrants'

Baryalai Rahimi, 25, and Mirebadurahman Sadat, 29, are said to have spotted the runaway teenager at a station in rural Kent before following her onto the London-bound train on February 5.

No I didn’t.

So 1 experience is ok to talk about but other experiences aren’t ….. ok

Yes you did. Read your own post: We were approached by right winged men who were in ‘support’ of us, until they found out our victims were mostly affected by white men and suddenly we were the targets because apparently we didn’t care about the victims of Asian grooming gangs (even though they were there too).

You're saying those right wing men didn't care about grooming victims of white men - aren't you?

And also the consensus of the sunni scholars as well... Like what is this nonsense.

Hundreds of millions of Muslim women don't wear the hijab. They're still Muslim.

Based on the provided report from the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention (Brå), individuals born abroad (foreign-born individuals) have the highest adjusted relative risk of being suspected of rape.

This is a research article based on the Swedish study you posted. I think it is a little easier to follow.

Immigrant Background and Rape Conviction: A 21-Year Follow-Up Study in Sweden
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC12662818/
“The analysis includes 4,032 individuals convicted of rape+ and 20,160 matched controls.”

TO PRAY (and most christian women no longer do that, even in a church.)

You do understand that is not the same thing as a 16 year old girl, Amita Geravand to name just one, being beaten to death for not having her hair covered ON A TRAIN, right?

That is not Islamic.

Funny how you give Christianity / Bible the benefit of the doubt but not Islam.

Why can’t people just start their own threads instead of jumping on one about a young girl who got raped by 2 men and instead of feeling any sympathy for her, they use it to push their own narrative.

Just start your own threads ffs.

Agreed, the thread has been spectacularly derailed.

What a bizarre choice.

There is nothing about a Dutch man that would him more trustworthy to me.

Yes there is. That fact he's from a European/civilised culture where women are equal. The Afghan man doesn't have such good views.

Bit of a ridiculous comparison. Western countries have largely made Afghanistan what it is.

Ah yes. Western countries have definitely made Afghans men take boy sex slaves and sell their girls babies to 65 year old pedophiles. Got ya.

Again you're the expert on Islam, while Imams who spend their lives studying it aren't?

You're good value anyway, I'll give you that. 😂

When Zara Aleena the young woman was raped, brutalised and murdered by British Jordan McSweeney, do you think he was civilised?

When a Sikh woman in Birmingham was raped by John Ashby and called a 'fucking Muslim bitch' as he raped her, and made her say Hallelujah, do you think he was civilised?

The problem is men. If you convince yourself that only men from certain ethnicities are the problem, then you are doing women a disservice,

Hundreds of millions of Muslim women don't wear the hijab. They're still Muslim.

Yes they are but according to the scholars of islam they are committing a sin and on the day of judgement they will be punished for this/held accountable.

Both things are terrible you absolute mouth breather. You can't stop the home grown monsters. You can prevent uncivilised men doing it. Two things can be bad at the same time.

By Italian men?

There are many of us who love Italy and have great experiences there.

I'm sorry that you experienced this..but would you rather be in Rome/Milan or Kabul?

Yes Italy is rather famous for harassment of women…

I’d rather live in neither country, or Thailand, or Vietnam etc for obvious reasons where child abuse is so out in the open and tolerated

Waiting for a response

What the f*ck has this got to do with anything? A Swedish report states more non-nationals are ‘suspected’ of crimes than nationals. That would include us Brits then.
Isn’t this thread about an incident that occurred in England?
Either way, ‘suspected’ doesn’t mean guilty so arguably some bias there anyway.
Maybe I’m being thick but I have no idea what your point is

Men are a problem..but European men and western men less so. There's a reason Europe is a better place to be a woman than the third world.

What those men did was disgusting and horrific and they got punished for it. There will always be some scum you need to see as a % of the total population what it makes up. And usually (but not always) when it's done it's done by the working class.

Life in Amsterdam is better than in Kabul.

Yes life in Amsterdam is better than Kabul what a stupidly obvious thing to say

But let’s not pretend life is all fine in the U.K. or that British men are better

Thousands if not more British men go to rape children in south east Asia

Rape convinction rates are so low in the U.K., we’ve practically given men the go ahead to rape without punishment

I am harassed by men virtually every day and have been since the age of 12 in the U.K.

Lets not pretend we live a good life free from abuse and harrassment because that’s doing a disservice to women and girls in this country

Of course there are worse places but how low do we have to go to compare ourselves to places like fucking Kabul

This all just reeks of racism and Islamophobia

Pathetic

Look at the paper. Gaps still persist after controlling for biases.

Suspect data catches a much wider net of criminal behavior. For crimes with an explicit victim (like assault or robbery), a suspect is often named directly by the victim or witnesses. This means suspect data is often a closer reflection of actual criminal incidents occurring on the street than final convictions, which can drop off due to legal technicalities, lack of evidence, or overwhelmed courts.

For certain serious violent offenses like homicide and robbery, a elevated risk remains.

This tells researchers that while police bias and demographic differences explain a massive chunk of the data, there are real underlying social conditions causing an actual difference in offending rates.

https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/2578983X.2021.1900038

This is a paper on convictions. Still an elevated rate.

British men and European men aren't all saints but on average they tend to be a bit better.

In the summer in London, Amsterdam, Budapest, Berlin you can probably wear a crop top and short skirt and nothing will happen to you. You do the same in Kabul, Mogadishu or Khartoum and you're gonna get attacked almost certainly. And there's a reason why. Some men are worse than other men.
