To think Meghan Markle isn’t the problem, it’s Harry?

I don’t understand why Meghan is so often treated as the driving force behind everything people dislike about them, while Harry is portrayed as some helpless man who’s been led astray.

He’s a grown man with his own opinions and the ability to make his own decisions. It’s his family and presumably he has far more history with them than she does. Why is the assumption that she’s manipulated him, rather than that he has his own grievances and is doing what he wants?

You don’t have to like Meghan to recognise that Harry is responsible for his own behaviour. I actually find him more irritating, particularly the impression he gives that everyone else is responsible for his unhappiness.

AIBU to think she gets a disproportionate amount of the blame, while he gets far too much benefit of the doubt?

Tbh, I’m already sick of the years of Meghan & Harry doing these fake royal walkabouts where they have pre-screened crowds giving them flowers & Meghan gurning when she’s a trashy briefcase girl.

Harry was a much loved popular royal before Me-again entered the scene. As Me-Gain had already fallen out with her family, she immediately set about her Narc rules of isolating dim Harry from his much loved family & hissing poison in his ears & slagging off the UK & all its heritage & history. Harry lapped it all up & believed the witches brew.

when William is king can’t come fast enough, then William will issue patent letters & get the titles and succession removed.

Incidentally, I think the non-bio Markle kids will also be insufferable. Expect lots of sexy magazine covers from Lilli, Fake diplomas from Archie and generally cringe boasting bragging by the Markle kids as they aggressively try to out-do their cousins.

Honestly you have no need to be sick of H& M, you can simply not follow anything they do, not read any articles about them or click on any H&M related threads.

As for your conjectures about Archie and Lilli, I think they are absolutely horrible comments frankly about two innocent children which shouldn’t be allowed on this site.

We all know this!!Noone is disputing this. But most of us would not write an autobiography slagging of our relatives. We would keep family problems private. And the choice of the Queen's pet name for their child, after ev3rything they said about the RF,is a bit cheeky.

Both Charles and Diana did
I doubt anyone would want to read an autobiography about my family tbh.

Yes Charles and Diana did and they should not have done so. But Harry's book more sensational and damaging ,with long term effects.
Of course noone would be interested in our families'stories, but to put it in contex,I assume most of us would not involve our extended family and friends in damaging grouses abiut our close family . Slagging off family members is not ideal, whether to the world or to our immediate circle. Difficult to forgive either way.

The “how I curtseyed to the late Queen’ got me. Harry didn’t know where to look.

And she compared the Royal Family to an American chain restaurant, Medieval Times.

Goodness I didn’t know that. Having been to a Medieval Times that’s an “interesting” comparison to make.

Yoko Ono syndrome parallels. Complete with the racism.

Would that be the same Yoko Ono who put Julian Lennon's letters to his dad up for auction. Letters he had to bid for and pay to get back when she could have just given them to him instead? Poor her.

Obviously, I meant when the Markle kids are in their 20s, not now.

For the Markle kids to grow up with two Narcissistic parents means things will not turn out well for them.

Brokentoes85 · Yesterday 10:14

Neither of them are to blame for anything. He did what's best for his family ans got away from a very toxic situation and can live his life how ever he sees fit. It's people thinking they have a right to him and expect certain behaviour from them that's the problem.

I’m just making a point that those 2 non-bio kids growing up with 2 narcissistic parents means the odds aren’t great for law-abiding, kind, hard working and successful members of society.

What you will see is both kids doing interviews with Oprah or whoever with endless gripes and complaints about hard life is whilst sitting on millions of pounds of money and lecturing, backstabbing and moaning like their parents.

watchingthishtread · Yesterday 10:20

You'd think they were hardened criminals the way people here speak about them. To blame for what exactly?

This whole website is strangers giving opinions on people they will never meet and situations they will never encounter.

News outlets constantly give opinions on kids they will never meet or how kids should be brought up or not brought up.

All I’m saying is kids being brought up by 2 narcissistic parents means more broadly, time will tell.

Its a website that is supposed to support parents
Its one thing to spout bile about Harry&Meghan
But leave the kids out of it.

Why do you keep referring to them as “non-bio kids”?

Why is he back then? I thought this country was breaking them and they had to ‘flee for their lives’.

This is only my opinion, but the fact that Meghan was estranged from her own family (apart from her mum Doria), and then married Harry and not that long after he was estranged from his own family. It just seems like a pattern. Almost like it wouldn't have happened if he wasn't with Meghan.
I also feel that she was the driving force on the 'Let's slag The Royal Family off publicly and call them racist'.
Harry has never done anything like that before he met Meghan.
Those are my thought's, for what they are worth.

This! It happens in day to day life. My dil was vile to her mother and rarely had anything to fo with her family unless there was something to gain. Once married to DS, who had a great relationship with his siblings and me and a great friendship group, it dliwly started to change. He now only has friends that she approves, has nc with me or siblings or close relatives that he used to spend time with. Its amazing how these women work!

Not great from her. But yeah, can confirm the same lady who was sent death threats and voodoo dolls during pregnancy. The same one who had her hair pulled in public and was called “Jap” and “Nip”. I don’t think she was threatened with being marched through streets naked covered in excrement. Definitely some parallels though.

What does she mean, non bio kids?

Sartre · Yesterday 12:33

I think it’s pretty inconceivable that she had no idea who he was before she met him and had limited knowledge of the Royals. I say this because I’ve met people from various different countries who all ask me about the RF and my views on them for some reason. I was speaking with Chinese and Indonesian students just the other day about them and they knew lots of details including Prince George starting at Eton. If people from China and Indonesia know of Prince George, I believe most from the US knew Harry before he married Meghan.

Harry has a low IQ and I honestly think he’s naive and vulnerable. I read Spare and felt sorry for him though it was very woe is me throughout and he didn’t often acknowledge his immense privilege.

Some utter lunatics have convinced themselves that the Sussex children are actors, that Meghan was never really pregnant, that it's all just part of her pathological lying / sociopathy / whatever. It's properly deranged
