🤢 🤢 Russell Brand. I never liked him anyway, Now he's on trail. Denies all charges of course.

This attitude is insane. People saying that they think he’s a vile sex pest and they believe him guilty are doing absolutely zero harm to the rule of law. We are adults capable of telling the difference between having a chat online and being on a jury.

Sanctimonious doesn’t even begin to cover those who lecture about “innocent until proven guilty” whilst misapplying the principle.

So agree

why are they coming here to police others…mystifies me

The male equivalent of grey bras this is exquisite 👌🏻

Oh im so glad someone understands “grey bras” 😂😂

Minasama · Yesterday 22:26

He always gave me the absolute creeps and I also always thought he was gay because he’s very camp.
His behaviour appears to have been utterly revolting. The prank on Andrew Sachs was awful as well. A horrible man.

I completely agree with this post. I have never liked Russell Brand's persona as he presented himself, or his work, but he has the absolute right to be considered innocent until proven guilty.

No, he does not. He has the right for the law and courts to treat him that way. The press must as well. But the rest of us are allowed to think whatever we want. And we can talk about it too. And, be honest for a second, would you trust him to take you 16yo daughter out for the evening?

Vile little man.
I've never forgiven him and Jonathan Ross for their vile 'prank call' to Andrew Sachs about his granddaughter. Both repugnant idiots.
Not sure how Brand got away with hiding in plain sight for so long.
If he's found guilty I hope they throw the book at him.

👍

Exactly this - I have always thought he is not a man I would want to be in a room alone with. Very icky.

Add to that the time piers morgan asked him for his fav bible quote and he panicked and struggled, eventhough he had his own beloved bible in his fucking hand. Who's he kidding?

50 years, and andrew sachs should be allowed to kick him in the nuts each time he comes up for parole.

It's the sad pathetic flicking through that annoyed. Mr Sachs too nice. Connor McGregor would be my choice

Yo808 · Yesterday 22:29

Bit of a bellend
still
half the women here would have boned him without a second thought at the height of his popularity

Not me. I always thought he was an utter sleaze. 🤮

Yet again, there are people on here who think that just because somebody has been charged, then they must be guilty...it's really worrying, because God help us if any of you ever end up on a jury.
I can't say that Russell Brand has ever appealed to me either, and he's certainly done some questionable things, but let's please wait until the trial has concluded before discussing his guilt, or innocence.

Completely agree- how is this thread allowed to stay active?

Even the Daily Fail has to have no comments on the reporting of the case.

HoldMyWine · Yesterday 22:33

They did well to find 12 people to put on the jury that have a neutral view of him. Most people I know find him repulsive.

Like many of us

lots of people found him attractive but they arent posting here

He got baptised in the Thames didn’t he. Probably still smells of that. I can’t work out if bear grylls is taken in by him or was trying do something to finish him off !

Probably added to the pollution

Yes like some kind of eerie theatrical pirate / court jester hybrid predator, flamboyantly dressed and using 75 words when 3 would do in some sort of hypnotic fast paced way.

😆love it

Yes, remember my partner being particularly gutted by that news when it came out. Didn't Peel himself admit underage girls? I know his first wife was 15. Yuck.

Not gonna lie, the John Peel information was unbelievably disappointing. He was a hero of mine.

MeowDoku · Yesterday 22:40

These offences will be only the tip of a very large iceberg. No one does the things he is described as doing, in some cases very publicly, as a first incident or as a one off.

I think it was Nadia Popov and Timothy Claypole.

That's it.

My favourite was dobbin. He was cool.
