… It would be one's asking about trousers on flights.

Bearing in mind I've been on here over 20 years, Lived through all the baby pasta, the baby modelling threads and all that crap, that yet this one never dies.

I think it's more than even mother of a bride theme because more people are obsessed with what trousers to wear sitting down for a few hours.
What type of thread always makes you roll your eyes?

(Special points for people who say threats like the one we're on now, very good well done 😃)

OP posts:

Ones started to boast about child doing something normal or act superior to other parents

Ones where the poster asks for help but then dismisses help from everyone that replies

Ones that clim to have little knowledge of a subject but then starts talking about it like they have studied a degree

Threads complaining about dogs.
People are perfectly entitled to complain about dogs, but more often than not they are complaining about dogs being in spaces where dogs are welcome.
Then the thread gets full of dog haters who seem totally obsessed with dog anuses and faeces, say people with dogs can't have human relationships, and go on about how dog owner's houses smell. It just gets ridiculous and happens every single time.

Posters who come on threads to say “Who?? Never heard of them” when someone famous is a big news story. Worst I ever saw was when Matthew Perry died. It was obvious the people claiming they’d never heard of him thought it made them sound intellectually superior to pretend they were oblivious to a cultural phenomenon like Friends.

Any thread that mentions 'Boomers.'
I start frothing at the mouth but can't seem to stop myself reading why this particular poster has a problem with my age group..

Also I didn't realise how much rage I had until I read this thread, giggle, I've 'liked' so many posts that have described threads which have wound me up! :-)

Mil threads when mil has done something minor that wouldn’t bother most people and OP tried to say how awful she is.

The competitive hygiene threads, where everyone competes with each other to show how fantastically clean they and their houses are, regardless of environmental cost. It's usually accompanied by piling on some unfortunate who has dated to admit that she doesn't wash her towels every day or similar stupidities.

And the competitive 'I'm a filthy pig and I don't care' threads, where some people claim they shower twice a week, have never cleaned their oven, change their bedsheets 4 times a year, never clean behind the couch and armchairs, and keep the same underpants on for 3-4 days at a time. Whilst accusing people who are cleaner/more hygienic of obsessive cleanliness and pearl clutching.

That's not a thing.

There's a website, I forget the address but it might be linked to that "how pretty am I" thing that literally needs you to place lines on your face because it can't actually "see" you, which guesses your age and is either absolute shite at it or has been programmed to knock ten years off at least. There was a thread on here once about it and everyone was getting results around 15 years younger than they were. I tried it and it gave me the same shite. Wasn't even a flattering, unrealistic photo, it was very honest. Depressingly so, in fact.

I wonder if it's to blame.

These 'how old am I' websites are shite. I have uploaded photos and got guesses between 20 years younger and 15 years older.

I’d bab the posts about pregnancy tests and insert a header that explains blue dye tests are rubbish and urine dilution can affect the strength of lines!

I don't know why the blue ones were invented. They literally dry blue-grey and either give people a massive panic or false hope, depending on the result they wanted!

In the interests of balance, there's been threads by H&M superfans which are a bit odd. Perhaps it's the topic, more polarising than shoes on/shoes off.

Honestly, using the word 'superfans' is giveaway.

In the real world, it's not 'polarising' at all. Hardly anyone I meet ever mentions Harry and Meghan. When they do, the opinion tends to be pretty anodyne and neutral.

On the rf boards, not actively hating them makes you a 'superfan.' Bonkers.

There's an ongoing ding-dong on the thread about eating cornflakes in Europe. Something to do with you have less of a cultural experience if you have that for breakfast.

😂
