Is anyone else unsure why they seem to have let a load of men out of prison to free up space, rather than women? I realise a lot of the women would need support as most of them won't be able to be employed (thanks in large part to AI) and have various needs men won't upon release, but were any women actually released early? I really thought we could free up whole female prisons and get the men into those!

I always wondered what happened to the 40 yr old Stephen Corrigan who raped Amber Gibson's dead body. Just found out you only get 9 years for "attempting to defeat the ends of justice" rather than necrophilia on his wrap sheet. Let's hope is probation realises what he actually did and keeps him out of jobs with women.

He did. My point is that men can work on a myriad of qualities to get laid. But many of them just whone that women are shallow.

I was talking about this at work only today. Men see themselves as superior to women, it's in-built. They want us to be the way they want us to be. When we step out of line they slap us back down, verbally or physically. They dislike women so much that some of them have decided that they can be better women than us - so we're relegated to "cis" women, with trans women obviously being superior. To me, the trans ideology is one of the more sinister ways that men have tried to demean adult human females. It will never get better. Women don't fight back like they did in the sixties and seventies. We've been lulled into a false sense of equality - but they don't see us as equal.

Yes, but I am sure I kept hearing all of the people in the system saying women should be the ones released because they are non-violent, the only issue being they often need MH support and often have abusive men waiting in the wings.
So, we just let the men out instead, or despite, all of the experts advice?

Women are being released early. The criminal justice system is just one of the systems fucked by over a decade of aTory underfunding, mismanagement, incompetence and neglect.

I don't care how old they are. He should be named and shamed. Piece of shit, waste of air.

The criminal justice system needs an overhaul. Priso should be for violent cries for the most part.

That should be a starting point. Other crimes, like fly tipping, should mean they have to do clean-up work for a fixed -punitive- number of hours per week. (On top of paid employment). Not physically able? Other community work. For a punitive number of hours. Etc etc.

And no parole for repeat violent offenders. And no bail for repeat offenders
