What would the Left call the Right, if the small boat people were white?

I'll start by saying, I am very anti open boarders, and I am horrified that so many illegal immigrants are arriving every day. But for me, it has absolutely nothing to do with skin colour, it is more to do with :

ONE) They have no documentation, and we have no idea if they have criminal backgrounds

TWO) They tend to come from cultures where women are not respected

THREE) They often come from places where rape is not a crime

FOUR) They cannot work, and it is costing Millions to house, feed and clothe them

FIVE) We are granting asylum to some people who should never get it - like the Hamas bodyguard we heard of yesterday

Lots of valid reasons I feel, however, for me, it has nothing to do with skin colour. If I had to be locked in a room overnight with a white man from a backward culture, or a black man from the UK, I would choose the latter, every single time.

It isn't colour, it's culture

But I see that people on the Far Left just scream "Racist" to anyone who opposes illegal immigration. What would they scream, if all the small boats were full of white men? And would people still march for England?

I have no idea why she is saying what she is. Why she actively snippets things to put UK girls at risk

There’s a few strands of don’t do anything we can’t change this throughout. Whether it’s the usual accusations far right / racism etc, the media, the white men argument.

Why would anyone want to delay change to make a system better for women and girls

storyinside · Today 09:54

Everyone wants the boats stopped. So imagine, for the sake of argument, they stop today.

Do you really think we will see a decline in VAWG?

If that's really the only way you can comprehend things Somerford, then ok. I'm not going to waste any more energy.

You had a fair opportunity to present good arguments and persuade those of us who disagree with you. You failed spectacularly and it was getting worse with each additional post, I can see why you wouldn't want to continue.

If we'd stopped the boats prior to Rhiannon Whyte's murder, that would be at least one less woman murdered. Apply the same logic to all of the other horrific crimes against women and girls and again, we arrive at a very simple conclusion. If you stop the boats, you prevent an awful lot of women and children from becoming victims of violence. If we hadn't allowed mass immigration from Pakistan, tens of thousands of British girls would not have been repeatedly gang raped and tortured. This is not difficult.

And the last one. Everyone wants something to change but we can’t possibly do it as other issues are there.

Why
It’s a basic duty for a gov to limit entry based on safeguarding women and girls / citizens generally. Bizarre the excuses that arise on this and delay change.

Yes. Or at least a reduction in the increase..less men coming in.. less men from horrible nations where women are treated badly

storyinside · Today 10:15

Somerford - all you want is for people to chime in with you that certain immigrant men are a raised threat in terms of sexual offences. That's the only narrative you are prepared to hear, and you can't cope with anything that even partially challenges it. So what's the point? Doesn't matter what I or anyone else says. You just fall back on the usual tropes.

SherryCherryLady · Today 10:17

Why are there British women who actively support things contrary to the safety and well being of British women?

Its dishonesty and obfuscation. It doesn't matter which of Elon Musk and mass immigration you consider to be the bigger problem. Even if mass immigration is the lesser problem, you can still stop it. PP is actually the one who is guilty of doing the whole "look over there! That's the real problem!" thing.

I can cope just fine. I'm offering lots of counter arguments, and each time you post you seem to admit that I'm right by accident and then get all flustered about it.

Conservative vote for me. Not sure why you're not quoting posters @storyinside you remind me of another poster who does that. She's very much into AI.

Exactly. Idk

storyinside · Today 10:30

So illegal immigration stops. Then what?

Then fewer women and girls are sexually assaulted, raped or murdered and we save billions of pounds a year. There is less antisocial behaviour in our communites and less pressure on housing markets and public services. These are all very positive things.

You asked what would happen if illegal immigration stopped. I gave you a list of things that would happen. What were you expecting?

@SherryCherryLady - rather than selecting one specific report to fit an agenda, just use AI to assess the spectrum of available evidence. You will see that, in fact, at this current time, there is no conclusive evidence. If that changes in the future, so be it, but at this time, it is what it is., An individual, limited study, is just that. I could find countless others that would tell you something else.

Another one wanting equal opportunity for the worlds rapists in Britain. Not yet enough rape victims so "it is what it is".

storyinside · Today 10:44

You have a list of things you believe would happen. I don't think it's that simple at all.

Who do you think Reform might target next, once illegal immigration is stopped and people are still worse off than ever?

Ok, lets stay on topic. You can deal with the points in my list one by one if you like, tell me why it isn't that simple.

Women and girls have been subjected to violence from asylum seekers and inevitably will be in the future. Stopping illegal immigration will prevent violence from occurring because the perpetrators will not be in the country. Why is it not that simple?

It costs us billions of pounds annually to provide housing, food, healthcare, education etc to asylum seekers. Stopping illegal immigration would mean that we wouldn't have to spend money on any of that, saving us billions of pounds annually. Please explain why it isn't that simple rather than simply asserting that it isn't and then ending your post with an attempt to side-step the discussion.

Defining a polygon by 2 co-ordinates? Sounds more like a straight line. Seems apt.

For the vast majority of people, their lives will be exactly the same, if and when the boats stop. If anything, their lives will get worse as AI replaces many jobs. VAWG will be the same.

The whole modus operandi of Reform is to incite a blame culture. People were told all their woes were due to the EU - now they see 'taking back control' was a lie. Now it's illegal immigrants. Everyone agrees the boats should stop - who doesn't? But it won't change people's lives - those most disaffected now will just continue to get left behind. Reform will just have to find someone else to blame.

This is just an excuse not to change a system which is harmful to women and girls.

In my town, we have experienced lots of negative impacts as a result of hotels being used as asylum seeker accommodation. We are now seeing rafts of planning applications for houses being converted to HMOs as the government looks to end the use of hotels. The negative impacts we experienced from the hotels will now be moved into our streets and firms like Serco will use our own money to compete against me and my children in our housing market.

My life would have been better if years of illegal immigration had not occurred, it will be better when it stops and these men leave.
