What would the Left call the Right, if the small boat people were white?

Blondiebeachbabe · 29/09/2026 13:19

I'll start by saying, I am very anti open boarders, and I am horrified that so many illegal immigrants are arriving every day. But for me, it has absolutely nothing to do with skin colour, it is more to do with :

ONE) They have no documentation, and we have no idea if they have criminal backgrounds

TWO) They tend to come from cultures where women are not respected

THREE) They often come from places where rape is not a crime

FOUR) They cannot work, and it is costing Millions to house, feed and clothe them

FIVE) We are granting asylum to some people who should never get it - like the Hamas bodyguard we heard of yesterday

Lots of valid reasons I feel, however, for me, it has nothing to do with skin colour. If I had to be locked in a room overnight with a white man from a backward culture, or a black man from the UK, I would choose the latter, every single time.

It isn't colour, it's culture

But I see that people on the Far Left just scream "Racist" to anyone who opposes illegal immigration. What would they scream, if all the small boats were full of white men? And would people still march for England?

A Hamas bodyguard. So we hear about him. One man. He makes the news. What about the others. What are their individual stories? Who knows? One could end up being the doctor that one day saves you life for all you know.

You put that extremely well and you’re spot on. We used to say “divide and conquer “

This is more relevant to the posters accusing women of the usual.

Hmm, my anti-Zionist Jewish refugee grandparents would probably disagree. I think they’d be more offended by the dehumanising and ‘othering’ anti-migrant language on this thread

Hmmm.....

If only everyone could learn from history instead of passing a vote to ostracise Jews - again.

"Everyone" hasn't done this though. Just over a thousand people have and it has been widely condemned by people on the left and the right.

storyinside · 05/10/2026 21:06

Well you can't really state that migrants are more likely to be rapists, and think this will just fly. And then accuse women who face all the same dangers you do of being 'rape apologists,' just because they don't share your (I would argue irrational) conscious or unconscious fear of Muslim men specifically. And then play the victim because you want to spread blanket stereotypes and other women won't all chime in.

Just like everyone on this thread, who has been accused of being racist and xenophobic hasn't been any such thing.

How dare you equate having an issue with immigration to being a nazi. I am a nice and welcoming person that treats everyone the same. Recognising that cultures differ in how they view woman does not make you a nazi. There’s documentaries and news reports constantly about the treatment of woman in these countries, I’ve seen it with my own eyes!

You: "What's this got to do with Islamism?"
Me: <explains what it's got to do with Islamism>
You: "Why do you hate DOCTORS?"

storyinside · 05/10/2026 21:15

If your position is that Muslim men, or men who will be Christian but from what you describe as 'backward' countries like Eritrea, are inherently more likely to sexually offend, then that is racism. The very definition of racism.

Exactly like it was racist when Nazis spread a similar 'truth' via propaganda about Jews.

You have quoted the wrong person but I agree with you 😊

storyinside · 05/10/2026 21:18

Cultures do vary in how they treat women. Of course they do. But stop stating this as if it is proof that migrants will be rapists. It's a tenuous connection at best. It's obviously more complex than that.

’How dare you say that everyone wants to stop the boats’
Sound the same, then the Nazi accusation.

Most are saying that coming from a country with such poor woman’s rights can influence how men treat woman even on a micro level. Do you not accept that woman’s experiences of visiting Egypt, Tunisia, some African country’s are different to their experiences here?

And if our position is that men OF ANY RACE from cultures in which sexual offences are more permitted are more likely to sexually offend, what do you call that?

Facts literally show higher crime rates and higher sexual crime per capita.

Facts literally don't care about your feelings.

SherryCherryLady · 05/10/2026 21:53

So many European countries have such clear per capita data and they control for age and gender. It literally shows elevated crime rates

Many moons ago, I lived for 18 months in a very remote part of Northern Pakistan when I was about 23. This was in a village in the mountains near the Afghan border and no, women were not visible in the streets. Men would stare at me obviously, but most seemed quite scared if anything because they were not used to seeing women out and about so genuinely didn't know what to do or say. But they were respectful and reserved in general. The only time I got groped was at the top of a mountain, but I've had worse in bars or on the tube to be honest. There was an incident in the city of Peshawar with holes in the wall of a room and a man spying, but worse happened to me while Inter-railing in Europe at that sort of age. In this region of Pakistan, they are incredibly my proud are very hospitable people who make a point of welcoming you into their homes. They are apparently descendants of Alexander the Great and ginger beards are quite common! I became good friends with some women. In those days I was young and on a rampage about the treatment of women in Pakistan and that my Western lens on everything was the only right way to interpret everything and everyone. I was looking for things to rage about and yes, there was plenty to rage about. But also, through talking to people in their homes you can begin to see things from slightly different perspectives. For instance, this was the 90s and the only Western media they had was some VHS videos of Baywatch! I remember some women asking me, "Why do your men expect you to walk almost naked like Barbie dolls in high shoes." I tried to explain that men don't make you, but their perspective was that men in the West do set these 'ideals' for how women should look because that is our culture. And they are not wrong, are they. They would tell me how glad they are to not have to worry about showing their bodies or conforming to the fashion industry which also exploits Westetn women by wasting their time and money. I did feel sorry for these women because if the restrictions on their lives, but I realised they also felt sorry for me, for other reasons. They also asked why men in the U.K. are allowed to shout at women or act disrespectfully towards women in the streets; or why they are allowed to get women pregnant, then not pay for their children and their families do nothing. This is what they think because this is the way 'the West' was filtered through their media at the time. It's a biased view with cultural misunderstanding, but I see the reverse happening when people say things like 'those men are from cultures that don't respect women." There is some truth in stereotypes but mostly misunderstanding and ignorance from all perspectives and everyone ends up talking at cross purposes.

Where would you prefer a DD to take a holiday Krakow or Karachi?

Answer me when you can get back to us on this.

Cool story sis.

So how come the ones coming to our shores are unequivocally more likely to commit sexual crimes, according to the actual data?

SherryCherryLady · 05/10/2026 22:05

Pakistan consistently ranks near the bottom of global gender equality indices—for instance, placing second to last in the World Economic Forum's Gender Gap reports and 164th out of 167 countries in the Women, Peace and Security Index.

YourAmplePlumPoster · 05/10/2026 12:01

It's not about immigrants. It's about not wanting undocumented men who may have committed crimes elsewhere. It's about not wanting Iranian terrorists who came in by small boats and were plotting an atrocity against Jews in Manchester.

The OP said immigrants. I responded to what they said.
