To think It was really sad to read so many posts where men detail unwilling sex or waking up to sex acts etc. All saying no one takes this seriously and the impact its had on them.

Is this widely known?

Do we need to be talking about women gaining consent from men more .

I think men are probably socialised not to show any fragility so mask their emotions.

Yes. By men.

Yes. By men.

By all agencies of socialisation.

Women often don't show fragility in these situations either.

I think it is more acceptable for women to show vulnerability than men. They're allowed to show anger.

Are we?
That certainly hasn't been my experience, and women know that they run the risk when calling out men for any inappropriate behaviour, even all the way up to rape that they will be blamed for it or shunned.

Yeah usually they are but I don’t know how that would make them vulnerable to assault tbh.

No that’s the one emotion they are NOT allowed to show lol.

I think it's more acceptable for men to do things like shout without it not being seen as a betrayal of their sex
