'Victims of serious crimes and their families have joined forces to demand that the Labour government publish detailed data on offences committed by foreign nationals, accusing ministers of withholding information that is “clearly and legitimately in the public interest”.

Among the signatories are victims of high-profile sexual offences and families of murder victims. One signatory is a 14-year-old victim of a sexual assault in Epping allegedly committed by an illegal immigrant, in the same Essex town where asylum seekers were housed at the controversial Bell Hotel.

The ‘information’ about victims and their families is being missed because its only occurrence in the OP in the headline of the link. The article makes no mention whatsoever of them.

OK well if I was a victim of a crime or my daughter was and let’s say the Afghani rapist gets sent back but instead we take a young vulnerable Afghani girl instead. That would be restitution in my mind and healing.

Personally i think all data collected by the government should be published. They are our elected officials no more, no less. Data relating to society should be owned by society.

I didn’t say that. I refuted the statement that there is any information in the OP about the victims, their families, or a letter.
