'Don't rape, sexually assault or make kissing noises' at people, asylum seekers warned in guidance about living in UK

UK arrivals have been told to treat women equally, not sexually assault partners or have sex with children in a new Home Office pamphlet. As well as the guidebook, a series of posters have also been designed by the government.'

And Interpol know who is murdering others in war torn Sudan?

Are you sure?

If an ordinary fighter loots a home, commits sexual violence, or shoots a civilian in Sudan, Interpol is completely blind to it.

Local Law Enforcement Collapse: Interpol relies entirely on National Central Bureaus (NCBs) run by local police. Because Sudan's domestic infrastructure has utterly collapsed due to the ongoing civil war, local police are not processing fingerprints, booking records, or case files for average fighters to upload to Interpol.

Well obviously the checks are not perfect, but my point is that checks are being done. So yes I am sure checks are being done.

The belief that no checks are being done is what is incorrect.

It is unrealistic to think that checks will catch 100% of criminals.

We missed the first opportunity by not denying him asylum as France did.
We are not the dumping ground of the world's criminally insane.

Edited

Ah but you're wrong there. It appears that we are.

It’s interesting though as I think some do believe crime checks occur.

Perhaps the government has led to that misunderstanding. But knowing it’s not possible for a war torn country or under certain states perhaps @NullaEffugiumwill reconsider.

Reconsider what exactly? Because all I have said is that we do carry out checks.

It’s unrealistic to believe Interpol are getting anything out of Sudan and other war torn or terrorist led countries.

You’ve bought into the false premise that it’s happening to any great extent. Now you know perhaps you’ll reconsider.

No - France had rejected him. So he popped over the channel. Where of course he was welcomed with open arms.

Ibrahim Albashir, who is originally from Sudan, crossed into the UK on a small boat after having his asylum claim in France rejected.

He would not have been able to do that if we were still part of the EU.

Just saying.

I disagree because you are ignoring the half dozen databases held by our allies and Interpol that contain millions of individuals wanted for crimes which we have access to. This includes facial recognition and other biometrics.

The Interpol diplomatic channels to the country is the last resort.

The only false premise here is you cherry picking the least used of the many ways checks are done and pretending it’s the only one I mentioned.

CoventryCity · 27/08/2026 16:50

Or a thread gets started with them, and they mass report, because they don't really want them if they say the wrong thing.

Exactly.

It’s all so tedious.

NancyThompson · 27/08/2026 16:51

I feel a lot of the current conversation is a distraction anyway. The stats point to men from certain countries being more dangerous. Many don't want them here. The background checks, if done at all, are clearly shit because I don't think a day goes by without me reading about another sexual assult at minimum.

You’ll not get much if they’ve passed through the EU to get here.

You seem to be utterly trusting that the men are checked thoroughly, and then we have the glass attack, the Belfast attack, look at Germany and Italy too. Ik you believe but why? Consider the women, girls and some men who endure what they do.

Why fight for a system that requires overlooking those victims

Of course. It's that poster's own little version of filibustering I think. Labour are good at that. Not that we're making decisions here - but that poster and Nomas from thread 1 (probably the same deluded poster, names similar and they've never appeared on the same thread) do try their best to derail and take up space with crap.

What I find most worrying are the people trying to minimise things. This, together with the reporting, points towards people who have a vested interest in closing down discussion. These aren't bored, middle class housewives with a soft spot for Somalians. This is a sustained and concerted effort from somewhere. I wonder who are involved. This, in turn, makes it more likely to be deliberate social engineering that they don't want anything to interfere with.

DebbieSavage · 27/08/2026 17:02

I grew up in Kendal in the 1980's and the only men who were dangerous to me as a young woman were white British. I bet the sexual assault stats would back that up too.

There’ll be some gov nudge work being done. Behavioural stuff. Because Labour can’t do much and they’ll fear losing the next GE based on that.

In the 1980s in Kendall that would certainly have been the case yes.

Luxury beliefs is a phrase I see often. It's not wrong.

Yes, I think the women who support ever greater numbers of men coming from Afghanistan, Sudan, Eritrea etc don't see them as a threat to their children. They think it's just far right propaganda and they see white British men as the main threat to their DDs.

Having worked in the public sector, I have absolutely zero faith in the ability of the 'decision makers' to weed out dangerous men and to process asylum applications in a way that keeps us safe.

So the women of the UK can be attacked instead. Big fat no thank you.

No it isn't fair. It isn't fair at all.
